Let's talk about the food, very rich, definitely the best ribs I've ever eaten. very soft and the bbq sauces at another level. but here comes the dessert thing that the cakes of this place taste delicious. In the end we bought 4 of different flavors. and very fresh as made at the moment because each one tasted delicious. the super friendly waitress 100% recommended
This place was so much better than I anticipated. We were told that it was 10x better than Longhorn's and after eating there.. I don't think that is untrue. Pit Stop was wonderful.
I highly recommend the wings. We were told they are cooked in a special way and the texture and flavor proves that special nature. Perfect texture of chewy and crunchy with a smoked chicken flavor and great sauce. Soooo good.
The ribs were great, the pulled pork wonderful, and the steaks were great too! I don't have anything that wasn't great. I will be back!!!
Been here a few times while traveling to FL. Always good, Nice size portions of traditional slow smoked BBQ, Ribs and pulled pork had that nice smokey flavor, sauce is on the side as it should be, only negative was they don't use Brisket for their beef, seems to be a bottom round and taste like a regular roast beef, beans were some of the best I've had, overall a great experience
So good, I'm eating 2 meals! I didn't know ribs could get so tender. Pork is perfect. Sweet, mild & hot barbeque sauces are great!
Great service. Family owned and operated for 26 years and the owner even took the time to ask me how I liked the BBQ.
No reason to ever go to fast food when traveling I-75 by Tifton. Stopping here is my new tradition.

The Grande Stew (Brunswick stew over rice) was to die for. I ate it b4 I thought about a pic. I was I bit over zealous with my ordering. I ordered a BBQ sandwich which was HUGE and delicious and the Grande Stew. My wife got BBQ sandwich and Brunswick stew.
The staff was super friendly and attentive. A super local business.
My wife is from Tifton and we had ate at Pit Stop several times. We usually eat their BBQ and the best Brunswick Stew I ever tasted. She told me about the steaks so we split the 16 oz Ribeye, Baked Potato and a nice house salad with the best Ranch dressing I ever tasted. Price was fair, place was clean and service was good.

I am a trucker and have seen many signs for BBQ and other restaurants only to find out after stopping that they were disappointing...I tried Pit Stop BBQ and it was amazing!!! The staff and owner were super friendly and awesome!! I called at 7:30pm knowing that they closed at 8pm just to see if I could get a to go order as I would be arriving around 8:15pm...They said sure and had my order ready when I got there. They even called me back to check on my location! They are located on a side street so parking the truck was easy.
I recommend the chicken and beef combo. The beef was more tender and better tasting than most briskets that i have tried in the past! The chicken was moist and melted in the mouth. The BBQ sauce was perfect and complimented the beef and chicken. I even put some BBQ sauce on the mashed potatoes! The combo came with two sides...i got the mashed potatoes which are homemade and baked beans!! Everything was excellent!
The ambiance was very cozy and it had great Feng shui as I didn't want to leave! I also tried their homemade cake which was so moist and delicious! So you have to get one for yourself and one for your spouse!!
It was real easy to get back on the highway so no excuse not to stop! I'm telling all truckers who want a hike cooked hot meal to give them a try and you will be glad you did!!
