Pj's Coffee

I got an XL vanilla iced coffee. It was quite a bit sweeter than I expected, but still good. The price I paid for the XL is probably the same as the equivalent size at Starbucks, but it was overall much larger and better quality. I'm picky about coffee, going to Starbucks for coffee only if there is no other option (I like their other drinks), but I'm glad to love close enough to NOLA to have an alternative. It would have been a better experience if the cashier was a bit more friendly and did more than recommend the most basic of drinks (it was my first time there), but she wasn't rude.

I went to PJ's for their amazing Peach Palmers, in which I always order easy ice because my teeth are sensitive to cold. This particular time I was upcharged 3 dollars more for easy ice. When I asked the barista why the vast price change, she proceeded to explain to me what volume displacement was. I explained to her that I didn't need more liquid and the reason per the request. She proceeded to finally brush me off with telling me that her boss told her to do as such. I love their menu items, but I wouldn't recommend them for cold beverages, unless you want to pay the price of nearly 2 of what you order in my case. It's just not worth being belittled and brushed off.

I'd normally give them 5 stars, but the last handful of times I've gone ive either gotten the wrong coffee or coffee with zero flavoring if I order I flavored drink. It really upsets me because I love PJs but I paid for a flavored drink that's sweet, not some bitter milk coffee or a coffee that I didn't even order
