My fiancé Scott Poage and I can for our anniversary to celebrate and check out the new place. Our server Alex was attentive and did a great job, even though we had to move tables because of a noisy party. The drinks we ordered were delicious. I had the Mariposa and Scott had the Refuge's bourbon aged in Buffalo Trace bourbon barrels. We each ordered a fish dish and for both of dishes, the fish came out cooked perfectly, and the sides of cauliflower gratin, corn succotash, and the cheesy grits were amazing as well! The atmosphere was sophisticated and very relaxing. There were a few large party so it was a bit noisy in the side room but all in all we felt very welcome, and the place was inviting. We will definitely go back.
I had an amazing time at Refuge. The drink menu is more extensive than their food menu, filled with a amazing craft cocktails and numerous libations. I was super impressed with the staff’s knowledge and suggestions on drink selections. This is my new favorite place in the Woodlands and I WILL be back regularly!!! 💜💜💜
Love the drinks and cheese board. Service was good and the guitarist played some great songs and he was a good singer. I would recommend for a chill friday night.

We just happened into this place last night and had a fantastic time! There wasn't any place to sit, but we really wanted to listen to the music when they came back from their break. The guy at the door set us up at the bar. They have an amazing specialty drink menu and the music by Jimmie Hunter was the best!!! We danced, sang and really enjoyed the company of a wonderful couple sitting at the bar with us. Great place!!back from their break.
