Donna's Donuts

Charming little spot serving donuts and breakfast sandwiches. They have steak sandwiches and a donut burger. Coffee was good, I went with an iced and my partner had a regular. Majority of cake style donuts, I didn't care for the coconut it was too dry for my liking. But I had the daily special which was a lemon filled donut with fruity pebbles outside. Outstanding, it was delicious. I would go back for this one!

Absolutely delicious donuts! The Boston Cream here are to die for. Fresh, ample filing and flaky. It can get a bit pricy (I paid $25 for a dozen) but what you get is well worth it. Edit: The egg sandwiches here are delicious as well. The sausage egg and cheese on a croissant in particular is fantastic!

Let me start by saying we LOVE Donna's Donuts. We order from here frequently, and this is the first time we've had an issue. We were only getting (2) bagels & (3) donuts, so we went through the drive thru last Sunday late morning. It's usually busy and we expected a bit of a wait, but this time ended up being way longer than usual. The vehicle ahead of us must have placed a large order, because 8 or 9 white donut bags and several minutes later they were finally pulling away. As we were moving forward, however, the vehicle slams on its brakes and throws it in reverse. Thankfully they realized we had moved up and decided to park and go inside instead. We sat at the window for 2 or 3 minutes without being acknowledged. Once the people from the vehicle in front of us went inside we realized we weren't being acknowledged because the staff were waiting on them. It seemed like they'd received something incorrectly, and caused all (3) staff members behind the counter (that we could see) to stop serving other customers all together. After waiting about 5 minutes one of the staff finally turned around to us, but unfortunately it was only to motion to ask whether the bag in their hand was ours? We shook our heads "no", and then the staff member simply turned back around to the commotion. We waited another couple of minutes and finally decided to leave and get breakfast elsewhere. While this certainly won't prevent us from getting breakfast here in the future, this one time in particular was unfortunately disappointing, to say the least. Highly recommend, but go inside to order. People inconsiderately place too large orders in the drive thru making the wait time ridiculous.
