I have had several good experiences and have found the food to be delicious. I have only had their breakfast food, but have sampled several items from that menu over the past 4 months. Also, the staff is great. The whole place has a "home town" feel. And, very important... the coffee is great!

It is what it is, a greasy spoon. On a Wednesday morning it was quite. Took my order to go, I work 3rd shift and was on my way home. Food was ok, a little pricey for what I got but not enough that I wouldn't go back. If you like your restaurants to be professional this is not the place for you. The 2 employees were upbeat and fast. But they were loud and there was some cursing. Not exactly sure why the waitress left her car running in the lot with her purse in the trunk and all the doors open😕 or why the cook gave me a to go menu with a cigarette in the same hand😕. I also can't figure out what is going on in the dining room. It was clean but there was alot of menus on the walls, it just seemed alot. Honestly the food wasn't bad. Give it a try.

Nice breakfast stop. Welcoming, cozy little place. French toast was great, but the sausages arrived barely warm, still cool inside. That's my only complaint. Coffee is great. Omelete was big. Service was adequate, but made sure we had enough coffee. Friendly service and atmosphere. Would definately stop here again and recommend to others. Prices not out of line, but had to wonder at $2 upcharge for REAL maple syrup. Still, a good place for breakfast, happy to have found this little gem.

Nice little stereotypical breakfast diner.
I've been twice and gotten the eggs Benedict and Irish Benedict. The hollandaise sauce is great, my eggs were perfect both times and their cornedbeef hash is great.
The staff is always quick and friendly.
My only complaints are I'm not a fan of their style of home fries, and it is cash only.
Overall it's a nice place and I will be back.

The food portion was average, cooked as requested. There was a situation with a teen couple. The girl told the waitress her food was cold. The waitress asked "why did you wait so long to tell me". The girl stated she had been trying to get the waitress attention but was never able too. The restaurant refused to give her a new plate of food. There were six tables with people eating. The restaurant floor layout is in the shape of an L. The young couple were sitting at the base of the L the kitchen is located at the top of the L. The one waitress was the only one working the floor. For this season I give 3 stars. I feel they could have given the girl a hot plate of food. Instead the girl was embarrassed.

ive eaten here 4 different times, all 4 times i ate from the breakfast menu.. the first was a little over a year ago and the meal over all was pretty good. the 3 times since all have been spread out over a years time and each time what i ate was not very good. sausages that were low quality and nasty, eggs under cooked, to bacon as dry and hard as beef jerky. after my most recent visit, it will be my last sadly. the waitress couldnt be bothered to inquire about the huge plate of bacon from both meals not eaten because of being WAY overcooked. i was fully charged for getting an extra side of bacon.. that combined with what came with the meals was not edible. we had to listen to another waitress cuss while discussing with the first about working a particular shift, all while customers were right there eating.. not real loud,, not an argument, but almost.

Cash only? Why in this day & age? You may want to travel down the road see how busy your competition is. Even though food may be better your payment method isn't in turn others will travel to a place that offers convenience of using bank card since a lot of people rarely pay cash. I will eat here again if I ever have cash in pocket otherwise i will travel to those that offer convenience.

This is a family owned small diner style breakfast/lunch place on Rt 38 in Wilmington. The food is not your typical diner greasy stuff. Sure they serve all kinds of omlettes, pancakes, etc but the preparation is good, not too greasy and best of all it tastes great! The prices are extremely reasonable and a breakfast for one person usually costs me anywhere between $6-$8 on an average and that includes coffee!
The ambiance is strictly okay and nothing to boast of. The service is excellent and food comes out of the kitchen pretty quick. It gets extremely crowded on weekend mornings, so if you are not a morning person, prepare to wait in line at the entrance.
IMPORTANT: They don't accept cards, so always make sure to carry cash.
