Pit Stop Barbecue

Should change the name because it’s nothing like Ms.Kim’s food. Brisket was dry. Greens had zero flavor and the sauce was not great. Sausage and potato salad was good. Service is not with a smile. I pulled up to the front and was asked to move it was for handicapped. Upon very thorough inspection there is not 1 sign that says handicapped. Anywhere! The price for a 2 meat plate was 14.75 (including 2 sides) that’s all I ordered total was $18.41! I look at my receipt and was charged $3 per side AND a .71 service fee! I won’t be back.

Stopped here a few days ago, for the first time, and loved it!!! Great service, great food!!! The brisket was the best that I have ever had in the Temple/Belton area! The potato salad and red beans and rice was amazingly delicious!!! Small place but everything was clean and organized! Can't wait to go back!!!

Believe the hype, the food here is a 10/10. Place doesn't look like much, but when you serve that quality of BBQ, so long as it's clean (and it is), I don't care what your spot looks like. Tender, flavorful brisket, excellent red beans and rice, old school style, baked beans done right. No complaints so far, I will be back.

First time here and definitely not my last, hands down the best BBQ I've ever had at a restaurant..and Ms. Kim was the best, so down to earth and definitely puts a lot of love into her food..I will be making the drive from Waco for this..Korean potato salad very different, nonetheless delicious!! Oh and forgot to mention the samples..OMG I'm hooked already!
