First time here. Was warmly greeted by the owner's nephew, Renner. He was informative and patiently helped us with making our lunch choices. Great and personable host. The items ordered were: the three meat plate and the beef ball soup. The meats in the first plate were extremely generous in portion and very nicely seasoned and marinated. The beef ball soup had a meaty broth, simply seasoned and quite delicious. More than an average lunch but they give more and the quality given makes the price a bargain. They have daily specials. The decor is humble and definitely Hawaiian. A great local spot for a Hawaiian plate.

Great place to eat. My family and I were lucky enough to try it out for the first and LAST time. We were sad to discover the owners were retiring and closing it PERMANENTLY. We had just discovered it! Coming from Hawaii, we’re always on a hunt to find real local Hawaiian Food. We got the Mochiko Chicken, Lau Lau Plate, and Kahlua Pig with Cabbage. To top it off, we got the poke bowl with Limu Ahi Poke and Spicy Ahi. Everything was perfect!

Only posting to share the disappointment with the poi and the fact that I was ignored when I explained why I was upset. When I picked up the container the poi was so hot it burned my hand and spilled from me dropping it. they seriously took the frozen poi and served it straight from the microwave burning hot. So hot the lid even melted. When I explained, I was ignored until I asked again for another poi then that came with a BS excuse that it's always served hot..since when is poi hot?? Own up to the fact that we are not all unknowing walking in your doorway and that we might actually be hawaiian and know exactly how poi is served...not burning hot!!! Absolutely ridiculous excuse...

I would have given them 5 stars but they ran out of teriyaki beef at 4 in the afternoon on a weekend. How do you ran out of your specialty food on a weekend?!

Close 5. We were the 2nd family in there on a Friday night but it took 25mins to get our food. The spicy poke bowl, Lau Lau plate, katsu nuggets, and poi was good! They have a big menu which was nice. Haupia, Manapua, saimin, they got. No public restrooms, we had to walk across a couple parking lots to Hobby Lobby.

This is the best Hawaiian restaurant in town, so happy I found this spot after moving down from Vegas. The loco moco is the bomb and always gets me smiling before I destroy it. The service is top notch and makes you feel at home. Two thumbs up!

Great little hole in the wall place to grab lunch. Prices are good for the amount of food they give you. They explained the menu and let me make substitutions which was nice. They also were so sweet and kind to my 8 month old daughter and helped me get the high chair. The fire alarm went off because of a fire in another restaurant in the same building so they quickly helped me and my daughter out to the patio and served us appetizers on the house for the inconvenience. Great food, and friendly, personable staff. I would give a 6th star if I could. I'll be back very soon!

This is a really great restaurant. They greet you when you come in with smiles on their face. They are friendly and the inside seating area is very small. There are a couple tables and chairs in front of the restaurant to eat outside. When customers leave the restaurant, an employee is quick to clean the tables for the next customer. The food is tasty and delicious! We ordered the grilled teriyaki chicken plate combo with two scoops rice and macaroni salad. The prices are pretty decent for the amount of food served. Their menu offers laulau! I haven't tried it yet but plan to on our next visit.
