Vallee D'brume

It IS a nice place and homey, as others have said. I've previously enjoyed some very tasty pastries. Recently, I went in craving a ham and cheese croissant and coffee. They didn't have that so I chose their Quartre Fromages sandwich. Really a croissant with warm gravy on top and a side salad. It wasn't terrible but a bit weird. The warm gravy was described as a cheese sauce but tasted more like creamy chicken gravy with some cheese in it. There were sliced mushrooms as well. The side salad had a flavorful vinaigrette dressing. I didn't enjoy that most of the salad ended up mixing with the warm gravy. As I said, a bit weird and at $11.95 a little more money than I wanted to spend for a light, quick lunch. Still, the staff is very pleasant and most people seemed to enjoy their crepes and omelettes so I'll definitely be back. Especially because the pastries are very good.

I only have a handful of favorite go to places and this is near the top of those! Been here somewhere between 50 to 100 times over the years and their pleasantry has never change even with a few people changing over that span! I mostly love enjoying breakfast there while doing a little work but lunch is excellent as well! Always made exactly as I ordered and I'm sure if not, they would have not problem happily doing so to completely satisfy you! Nice and cozy whether you want to do breakfast or lunch with a love one, or small business breakfast or lunch wit coworkers in a great atmosphere! Have never been disappointed with being there! And the treats will keep you there and coming back for more!!!
