My brother has been raving about this restaurant for a long time and I finally made it there this week. So glad I did, I have a new local favorite that’s close to home, serves huge portions of incredible food at a great price, has fast service, kind staff, and the space was clean. We tried the Cuban sandwich which was hands down the best I’ve ever had! We also got the beef stew and pulled pork which was so tender and flavorful. Can’t wait to go back and try more dishes!

Perfect place to get some good Dominican grub. The restaurant is a quick in and out place where you enter, point to the food you want, eat and leave. Nothing fancy but the food is good. They are decently staffed and the line moves pretty quick. It’s more of a quick-bite lunch or takeout type of place. The food is served in styrofoam containers and wrapped plasticware, even if you’re eating on the spot. Their drink selection is modest though, and the place could use a bit more cleaning, that’s why I’m giving them four stars instead of five.

Best pernil (roasted pork) in this part of Tampa. I've never been disappointed by the food in this spot. Sandwiches are so good, I call them diet killers.
Inside, the restaurant is beautiful, and it feels like you're back home in the Caribbean. The service is sweet, welcoming, and very generous with servings.
A must.

Found this place by accident. 27 miles from my house! After eating there, I’m adding to my list of favorite Spanish food places! I would rank this place within my top 5. I like my food heavily seasoned and this place is not that - but it is delicious, wholesome and I absolutely love the selection right there in front of your eyes and the value! You get a lot of food served for the price. Very friendly people also, makes me miss the island. I wish they would include more Spanish decor.

Right off the back I am a vegetarian and they had options for me so I’ll definitely be back here for the salad bar which was fantastic. If you’re not vegetarian like me then let this be having for you because they have amazing options and not just one but a whole line of them. While the food looked endless it smelt great too. Reminded me of places back home in NJ/NY.
My salads were amazing ! The staff people we’re very welcoming & really nice. I wish I spoke Spanish it would have slightly made it easier but none the less I came here with a friend & it was great.
The place is very warm & inviting, good space as well. It does get busy in here for sure!!! But I’d say come here with an empty stomach because you know you’re going leave filling your mom/grandma fillled you up!
ALSO LETS NOT FORGET HOW CHEAP IT IS!
The prices are SOO reasonable I was like no way!!! So this place is great for many reasons!!!

OMG!!! This place has amazing food and is perfect for people with large families. The food is always hot, fresh, and flavorful. The Service is superb and the atmosphere is always welcoming. I also love that they cater for the holidays. If you are looking for a place that will give you your money's worth then this is the place.

My last visit was a few years ago and back then was completely satisfied with their food and service. Returned today for a mangú breakfast platter. Totally impressed by all the menu variety, renovations, and more tables to enjoy the delicious food. 😋

Delicious food and efficient process. Cafeteria style and they put together your order. Lots of To Go customers but I ate mine there. I had the pulled beef, sweet plantains, yellow rice & black beans they will get someone to take your order in English, if you don’t speak Spanish. The place was clean and the atmosphere is what you would expect for the price level.
Check out the meal I got and bottled water and tip for ten bucks! WOW! They have exceptional values on family size dinners.
The only drawbacks are that it could be hard to get a parking space and there is just one bathroom for one.

This is a great place to get hot ready to eat Latin food. The portions are big so make sure to bring your appetite. The staff is friendly. My family and I went on Sunday for takeout and we got food that will last us for two days. Each dish was flavorful and we will definitely be back for more. For those wondering why I didn’t give it 5 stars, it is due to my opinion that hot ready food is not equivalent to a cook to order restaurant. However this is way better then going to a McDonald’s or something similar.

This is a hidden gem in Tampa Bay! I ordered a mofongo (plantain dish) with pernil (Spanish pulled pork) and a side of ensalada rusa (Russian salad) and OMG, everything tasted almost like my mother's cooking (she's the best dominican cook in the world, and I'm not exaggerating). The place is clean and they are friendly and quick to dispatch your order (the mofongo is cooked to order). Im very pleased with my visit here and will definitely be back!
The only thing I can say needs improvement is the outside appearance of the plaza - the parking lot and the side of the building is very dirty and messy but im sure that's not their responsibility.

I'm currently in transition to move here in Tampa. So, I did a search for Spanish foods in the area. And found this place. I had the salmon with yuca and ensalada De Aguacate. And I must say. I was impressed. It tasted like back home. Very good. Service, well if you go to a lot of Dominican restaurants in NYC/NJ you'll know the service is usually mehhhhh. So I didn't expect much on that front. But the good was delicious.

Great little restaurant! Service top tier, the breakfast sandwich is awesome, and they have a nice hot food bar selection. Got a dinner plate to goas well. This is official one of my stops, I'm hooked!

Great food staff and service. During my last visit (since I'm here often) I had the canoa, salada de aguacate and filete de pescado. The food has never let me down. It's rather small on the inside with about 3 to 4 tables and it's always clean. Great variety from Puerto Rican to Dominican food and in between. I will see you again Tipico Criollo. *** update** they have expanded and now have more seating area!!!!
