We found this place purely by accident on Christmas night 2020. We'd just left Busch Gardens and we were starving! Needless to say, everything else was closed, and we happened to spot the "OPEN" sign as we drove by.
The food is AMAZING!! I was instantly transported back to living in New York by the decor and their food which is authentic New York Style. The food is fresh, hot and full of flavor.
The dining room is currently closed due to C-19, and it might be fun to dine in at some point. That said, customer service leaves a bit to be desired as they are not very friendly. Never rude mind you, just not very friendly. This doesn't stop me from going there because the food (and the drive) is well worth it!

Just got a delivery and not only was the staff friendly on the phone but the delivery was fast and the driver was very pleasant. 20-25 minute delivery I was so surprised. Great prices especially lunch special. Food was very good and they always throw in those delicious free chicken bites. Well done :)

I have been enjoying their delicious food since they were just Tung Tung on Busch Blvd. so many years ago. Nice place & people. Consistently good food. Nice buffet, great prices for how much you get! Be prepared to take home piles of leftovers! Delivery quick & just what I ordered. Family owned & operated. Great business for Temple Terrace.

I used to love eating Chinese food but everywhere I go it tastes so fake. This is the only place that actually tastes like they freshly cook their meals. We ordered delivery. It was on time. Everything we asked for was in the bag. We asked for extra of something and they were not shy and gave us exactly what we wanted. I will always order from there now! It was good and fast service!

THIS IS THE 'GO-TO' CHINESE PLACE IN TEMPLE TERRACE. We always go for their lunch buffet. If they run out of anything, they gladly will cook it fresh and quickly put it out. The people here are so sweet too. Seems like a family. All of their food tastes so good. Also, The buffet is right around $7 at lunch, so you cannot beat it! Try it out!

Love this place! Great food and good value too. This place is great because it's like REAL food...now I'm not saying it's real Chinese food, it's still most definitely the stuff we Americans like, but the vegetables actually taste like vegetables and the meat isn't fried to death, which is not always the case! Doesn't make you feel like you just ate a pile of rocks. I've only ever gotten take out there but its always been super quick. The only complaint I've ever had is the one time they forgot my egg rolls (ahhhhhhh!!!!!!!!), but other than that one faux pas they've been stellar.
In closing, get the mu Shu pork!!!

I love combination (House) fried rice. I haven't been to any other eatery (lowscale to highscale) that can compete with Tung Tung's. At one point, every Friday I would phone in my order for the scrumptious fried rice. I've moved a bit further north, but I will continue to visit at least once (maybe twice a month).
Let me also compliment this eatery, with their quick service!! TOP NOTCH!!

I was looking for gourmet Chinese delivery, for a 15 people dinner party, and I was glad to find this place, and so near. It is very reasonable, very clean, the delivery is on time, hot, and totally correct. (No wrong orders:) There are only 3 tables of 4, so most of their business is take out or delivery. We tried the food the day before by ordering their luncheon special which is only $6.25! The won ton & hot & sour soups are also good. For dinner, I highly recommend the shrimp w/ honey glazed walnuts. Yum. Their chicken Szechuan style is also very good, as is the Mongolian beef. It is a family-owned operation and their portions are very generous. They also have party trays at this time, and they threw some tasty meatballs and their version of dessert donuts because we had a large order. Another plus is that their containers are so nice and not flimsy. <br/><br/>Happy eating!

Well this was one of my favorite Chinese restaurants but today I have a bad experience I placed my order over the phone when I went to pick my order up I was confronted by a young lady I am assuming one of the owner that I did a bad review on the restaurant on a order of Chicken Mei Fung .I explained to her it wasn't me because reviews is something I never do She said that she has caller ID and it was me I tried explaining that it wasn't me. I must say that I never write reviews but today I had to I am giving them one star for poor customer service and I can assure you that I will never return. For the person that did the reviews good for you and for Tung Tungs you have lost a valuable customer.

Although I ordered from here more than 20 times, today I had the worst experience ever. I placed an order and was told that it will take an hour to deliver. After 1.5 hrs I call to make sure there is no problem and I am told that the driver just left and will be there in 10 minutes. After 30 minutes, I still didn't receive my food. They tell me they delivered it and gave it to someone. They didn't call me, let some random person charge my card and didn't apologize. I asked to just bring me food and was ok with waiting and they told me they do not care and won't make me food. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT CUSTOMER AT ALL! ALTHOUGH I HAVE ORDERED SO MANY TIMES, THEY ARE JUST FRAUDS!

I don't know why those people are saying that the food is bad.My wife and I went and we order the shrimp with mix vegetable it was the best thing I ever eaten in my life.The shrimp was juicy and the vegetable was fresh.

Food!!. Tung-Tung, The best Chinese Food I ever taste. Their Shrimp Fried Rice are amazing, and their employees are very friendly. In Fact, the boy who takes care of the counter does a very fantastic job! I truly believe that this is the best Chinese Food ever. Everyone should come here and try their food. If you live in Temple Terrace, this is the place to go for Chinese Food. Great local chinese food. Close by if you live in temple terrace and cheap. Everything I have had there has tasted good I mainly stick to their chicken or pork dishes. I have never had their seafood.

Great Food. Lets start with this, NEW TUNG TUNG HAVE THE BEST CHINESE FOOD EVER!!!!! Chinese food has been my favorite from the beginning. I use to go there all the time until the store closed down on Busch, then I heard it reopened on 56th street. Who wouldn't eat food from an experienced Chinese restaurant. Are their food comes with great price and everything. <br/><br/>That might be my favorite Chinese Restaurant in the whole temple terrace!

Great Food. New Tung Tung is has the best chinese food ever. The food are cheap and it is big enough to fill about 3 people. Not only does the food taste great, but the prices are low. I travel from St. Pete. Just to get their food. They know me every time I come and their service are great. Do waste your money there!

Fried Wing. The best place where you can get wings is a Tung Tung. The wings are well done, crispy, and come in variety of sauses. And the best part is the Wing Station. 10 Peices only for 5.99$. GG. Plus it comes with honey, bbq (my favorite), garlic, etc.<br/><br/>Hope you all will try there awesome Chinese foods!

FOOD!!!!!. Lol, what up guys and gals. Today i just went to tung tung with 20 bucks. U can't imagine how much food i bought with just 20 bucks. It's like 2 wings, shirmp fried rice, and 2 egg rolls.<br/>U might think i got all of that because their food was cheaply made, nooooo, it was just amazing. I have no idea what u people that dislike tung tung have in ur mine but ur wrong.<br/><br/>So travelers if u arrive in tampa, be sure to check out their foods!

That's what i call food!. I you want to go out for dinner or lunch i would consider tung tung. There buffet have several different severing and mix. I have no idea what u guys are talking about. But so far tung tung has been my favorite chinese restaurants. It use to be located on Busch Blvd. Now it move. Some that's my opinion.<br/><br/>Peace!

Awesome. Their was very tasty! Not to mention the Shrimp Fried Rice. In my suggestion i think the shrimp is way much bigger than the other restaurants. If you have time, make sure to stop there and have a taste!!!

Bad food. Well at one point Tung Tung use to be one of the top Chinese restaurants in the bay, but for the past few years they have really drop in service and food, just recently made a purchase from them for visitors in town, out of all 12 people 11 were very disappointed in the food the rice was very reheated, the shrimp were of just a few maybe 4 in the shrimp fried rice. The chicken fried rice consisted of maybe two pieces of chicken if any.. I can go on but all I can say is. Maybe the uncle and dad should change management..

Best in Temple Terrace. Tung-Tung has by far the best Chinese food I've found in Temple Terrace. Their food is always fresh and hot, the rice is never too hard. They have seats inside, though I've never seen anyone sitting inside eating there. Out of the five or so other places around the immediate area of Tung-Tung that sells Chinese food, I would definitely say this place is the best. (I must question the age of the [eight-ish y/o] child that works the register, though.)

Just ok. The only reason I ever order from this place is because they're the only chinese that delivers to my apartment. Their food is mediocre and you can tell it is cheaply made. Their fried rice is far from great and all of their meats don't really taste like meat. But if you are desperate for chinese food and don't want to pick anything up, they will do

Great food. Well when i first had tung tung i thought it was super delicious... i had the shrimp with garlic sauce and i loved it... certain things are for certain people,so its like u have to make a right decision about the food choice... but when i ate there again recently i had shrimp fried rice and chicken tht was good also.. they have great customer service since i've been going i cant complain.

Save your time and money. I've gone to Tung Tung on a few occasions and was never satisfied by their food or service. The food is, to say the least, awful and you can say the same about the employees. When I called and placed the order, the guy simply said "20 minutes" and hung up with out a thanks or anything. Then when I picked the food up the guy had a black eye, huh, I wonder why? if he wasn't holding my food I might have punched him too. The food is always disappointing no matter what I order. Don't go to this place, there are at least 10 other Chinese restaurants within two miles.
