Sad that lots of Chinese restaurants have closed post Covid, partially from college international students not coming back. Thank you for great Taiwanese food & pizza, Mei! Enjoy traveling!

I wanted to try something different, so I gave Mei's World a chance. First time ever trying a Kung Pao Chicken Pizza. It was unique and delicious. They also have many traditional Taiwanese dishes. The two I tried were excellent too. Mostly take-out and delivery. A great place to try if you like Asian cuisine and want something a little different.

Since I grew up in Taiwan, I'm very picky about finding authentic Chinese food. And when I saw "Taiwanese sausage" on this menu, I got very happy! This delicious food takes me right back to my Taiwan childhood and I eat here as often as I can. Ms. Mei is a generous, sweet lady and it's fun to chat with her in Mandarin. Her food is the best Taiwanese food I've had in decades!

Amazing place for one of the best fusion pizza's I've ever had - General Tsao's Pizza! Seriously try it, it's amazing. There is also a full menu with other unique pizzas, Taiwanese popcorn chicken, dumplings, and more!
The staff are lovely and will make sure you don't leave hungry.

Went to Mei’s today when I saw someone posted about it. And didn’t know there was a Taiwanese restaurant here in Tampa, so I was excited to try it. I invited my friends and and kids, there were 10 of us. Didn’t know they are closed for indoor dining. When I spoke Mandarin to the lady owner, I said there is 10 of us and they are all on the way if she would kindly seat us inside just for us. She was very kind to let us all in and catered to our group. Honestly, it didn’t look appealing from the outside, but you definitely won’t be disappointed with their food!! We ordered teriyaki chicken pizza, pepperoni and sausage pizza and a BBQ chicken pizza, great chewy crust, and tasted soo delicious! Beef noodle soup- the hand pulled noodles are amazing it tastes very authentic! Chives and pork, cabbage and pork dumplings, trio cups chicken- 1 cup of soy sauce, 1 cup of cooking wine, 1 cup of sesame oil, hence the name of it, was super flavorful, last but not least beef and vegetables stir fry! All were very inexpensive for good quality food!! Very impressed!!
Go and pick up your to go, and support their business! May them open their for indoor dining soon!! Thank you Mrs Hao for catering to our group!!!

The best Taiwanese restaurant. So sad that you're closed. Thank you Mei for being a good part of my time in Florida. I had some of my best memories here 🤍 Your TSO pizza is one of a kind. And the beef noodles. I will never forget.

The outside can be very deceiving. But the food is awesome! Tried a General Tso's Chicken pizza, which those words together sound like they shouldnt work, but it is awesome. The pizza comes out fresh with a light crunch in the crust. And amazing prices as well!!! Come try this place!!!!

This is the ultimate unique hidden local gem. Where else can you get general tso’s pizza, chicken curry pizza or kung pao chicken pizza? Nowhere! They also have authentic Taiwanese food but these pizzas! Inexpensive, unique and delicious fun! Try them all!

Very authentic Chinese/Taiwanese food. They also offer bento box for lunch during the weekdays.
Their pizza is also very decent, in case you are not into Chinese food.

Me and my daughter love this place!! We are addicted to Mei’s pizza, we can eat THREE slices of pizza each. the Asian food (mostly Taiwan dish) is delicious as well, I have yet to try all of them.

Very long wait. We came here for a Saturday lunch at 11:30, and we were greeted by the cook saying "why are you here so early?" Then we ordered our food (beef noodles and the fried pork). The service was extremely slow. The fried pork came out at 12:30, and without the vegetable garnish. At 1:15pm, the noodles and the vegetable for the pork finally arrived. The food is ok, but it is not worth having to wait almost 2 hours.

One of my favorites. Friendly staff, fresh food, and great prices. The lunch/dinner buffet is one of the best deals in the Bay area. Highly recommended! :)

Don't let the way the outside look fool you, this place is amazing. The wings are the right amount of crisp and spice, not too hot but still flavorful, and the general tso pizza keeps bring my friends and me back to this place. We've been here atleast 10 times in the past few months, I recommend trying it out!

Looked up reviews and everyone said it was great! but it really sucked when we first walked in lady said she was very busy so we had to get our own drinks... -.- there was only one other family of 3 there. pizza sauce tasted nasty to me. when my order came up they rushed me to go and get it. poor customer service. tried general tso wasn't impressed. chicken wings weren't great. it was just not what I expected

Mei's World Pizza is not nearly as inconspicuous and passable as it appears. I ordered take out from here for the first time - their general tso's chicken pizza - and it was fantastic. The restaurant itself isn't much to look at from the inside but I'll definitely be heading back to take a wider look at their menu. It doesn't look like they get much business, and I can't speak for their buffet but if you're looking for a tasty and cheap pizza around USF that isn't the usual stuff I'd give them a shot.
