I will recommend anyone to check this Tampanian's home style cafe!
Their menu is reasonable and seasoned right.
We had a steak fly and tuna salad salad. Their service is comforting too.

This café on Anderson Road is an independent business that has been serving good american fare for a long time. Open for breakfast and lunch and there are 2 separate menus and they have the variety of dishes you often see in a diner. They also have specials they put up on the board.
Pocket friendly prices, country style ambiance and always friendly service. The decor is fishing/beach style. There is plenty of parking on 3 sides.
Had a couple BLT's for breakfast this morning at 6:30am. Love the fried fish and shrimp. Some satisfying and hot food choices. Burgers remind me of when I was a kid. Good subs and sandwiches. Just a great place to stop for a bite, no fuss no muss and a huge glass of tea.

Really nice people work here. Good sized portions. I was disappointed that my chips were expired, and it makes me a little nervous that other foods might be expired. So, I probably won't come back.

Just north of the Tampa International Airport is Anderson Road Café where we headed for our weekend breakfast review. Located in a mostly industrial area, Anderson Road Café mostly caters to the local workers and serve breakfast & lunch Monday – Saturday. The outside of the building is rather non-descript with the inside décor part nautical, part country store and part baseball cap rack. Wicker chairs, blue curtains and mounted fish make for an interesting look.

Great Place Hidden Gem in Bay Area. If you keep in mind that it is an old Florida style fishermans diner you will not be disappointed. The food is great and portions are more than enough. Their sweet tea is very good a plus for a southern diner style restaurant. The wait staff is always a pleasure to deal with. you really can't go wrong don't be turned off by it's location and appearance. You will miss out on a unique experience and great food.

Solid for lunch break at work. Blue plate specials, sandwiches and more adorn the menu here and for lunchtime break from work is a great spot to frequent.

Only one item I ordered thus far was not the real deal, The Cheeseburger Club.

Other than the food has been solid. Keep in mind this is a diner type place and not Ruth's Chris or Roys. if you keep the perspective correct you cannot go wrong.

Nice homey atmosphere too. Location off the beaten path a bit but not far off Hillsborough.

This is a diamond in the rough! Excellent food, huge portions, affordable prices, and friendly attentive staff. They have daily specials $5.95 for meal with drink! Great home cooked menu items...shepards pie, baked chicken, open face turkey sandwich. Excellent sandwiches and decent salads. Get there early; gets crowded at 11:45.

Fantastic. Great food and staff.

The Anderson Road Cafe was a recommendation from Tampa Bay Breakfasts fan Becky and turned out to be quite a gem, despite being tucked back in the middle of a vast industrial area.
