Went to see the Dollyrots here. We had a great time. We had some drinks at the bar downstairs before the show. Drinks were excellent and the bartender was friendly and nice to talk to. The club upstairs was small but great for a show. Again, great bartenders. And of course, the Dollyrots were awesome!
The staff was really great! Never been there before but I loved the place. Would definitely recommend. Great venue for a concert.
I loved this bar/venue. We went to see Stevie Nick's Experience and the band was incredible. The bartender that night (upstairs), I wish I knew her name was working hard, and still spent time to make you feel welcome. Downstairs, was the perfect scene for me. I'm 40, probably 25 at heart. Good mixed crowd, no trouble, good bar staff, and clean tables. I get nervous in crowds and I felt pretty safe in this spot. So, thanks for a good night out.

A very intimate music venue with elegant lighting and small bar. Just the perfect place to hear a singer with guitar serenade a small group.
Nice historic venue in Ybor City, Tampa, Florida. Excellent sound & a nice laid back place. Bar downstairs with the music venue upstairs. Friendly staff during blues music events. Definitely check it out!
Really fun intimate venue. Not a bad seat in the house! Great sound, friendly staff, they serve food and drinks! There is a bar downstairs also and an elevator that connects them. I had a great time, you probably will too!

I attended a Kruger Brothers bluegrass concert at this venue and we had a great time. The venue is relatively small but was the perfect size for an intimate concert. The bar was quick and reasonably-priced and this venue allows you to order food from several restaurants.
Awesome venue but wish they had bathrooms upstairs. The stevie nicks experience band was awesome!

The Attic at Rock Brothers Brewing is an absolute hidden gem of a venue for live music. Only about 25 4-top tables in a room the size of a 3-car garage, with a full bar and standing room at the back. And you don't even need to get up to order a drink- "there's an app for that." The only thing I could ask to improve would be to have restrooms upstairs. Perhaps there's just not enough floor space for that.
But the best aspect of the room is the cozy intimacy. There are shows at big arenas where the front row is further away than the back of this room. This is a place where there is literally no bad seat to be had. Acoustics are great, amplification is not really needed, and best kept to low power when utilized.
The vibe is somewhat industrial, bare brick all around (which very much fits the Ybor City aesthetic), exposed duct work hanging in a deceptively high ceiling. Lighting is warm and even around the room, never harsh. Just a cook place to hang out, even if there wasn't a show. But bonus, there ARE shows with great artists from various genres.
Not every city has an intimate venue that works this well. If you haven't seen a show here, check out their schedule and get on it.
Oh, and go ahead and arrive early. Rock Brothers Brewing downstairs has plenty of seating where your can enjoy their craft beers and a fantastic selection of inventive cocktails made with fresh ingredients (i.e. no bottled sour mix, etc.).
