Good Q. I tried the ribs which were good but not as good as the pulled pork. Wife liked the smoked salmon.
Totally unexpected. But so delicious. My husband and I got the 5 sandwich special and split them with beans and chips at home. They looked small but 2 were plenty for me and 3 for him - great lunch. Definitely will be returning customer!

Falling off the bone!. #1 if it's not falling off the bone, it's not done! These ribs were so well done it was a bit of a challenge to pick up the rib with any meat still attached but that's a good thing.
Could definitely taste the smoke, especially in the pulled pork, but not too strong. Sauce is not too spicy, a bit on the sweet side but still OK, although I'd like a little more heat with the sweet. Pulled pork sandwich needed a hit of sauce as it was a bit dry for my taste. I wanted to try the brisket too but they didn't have any today.
Also had potato salad - not to vinegary, not to mayoey, but not much by way of seasoning and too sweet - and beans - flavorful but had something sort of rubbery in it like cooked barley maybe and something else that was grainy and I could not identify.
This is a stand with no seating. A couple of picnic tables would be nice but maybe it's not allowed in that location. Not a problem for me as I just schlepped everything home and divvied it up - some now, some for later!
Mediocre sides won't stop me from going back, since I'm really interested in the meat. Next time will just get the meat and maybe spike the sauce with a little heat!
FANTASTIC! I almost don't want to tell anybody else about this place because I want the brisket sandwiches all to myself. This place is so good that I nearly went back and bought more just in case I had a midnight craving. I can't wait to go back.
Went back. Got as many brisket sandwiches as I could. This place is amazing. I also got a whole chicken. Also amazing.
Very Delicious these people are cool i love their attitude very friendly and their food forget it that BBQ sauce is amazing the pull pork amazing and the chicken on point !

Just stopped here for some ribs. I'm not a fan of sauce on my ribs and I have yet to find a place in Tampa that has good ribs without sauce...until now! If you want absolutely delicious, meat falls off the bone, tender, amazing smoke flavor, massive ribs then stop by here. Hands down the best place in Tampa. He even takes your food right off the smoker in front of you. I'm going back to try the smoked salmon next time! And to top of off the collard greens were on point as well. There was actual texture to them and flavor, not some of the green slime other places serve. I'll definitely be back and you should to!
I've eaten BBQ all over the South and Kansas City. The chicken was tender and that's hard to do. The rib meat fell off the bone and very tasty although I prefer my ribs a little dry and the sausage was great. Sides were very good and the BBQ sauce had the right mix of heat and sweetness. Overall 5 stars straight up.
Stopped on a whim, been wanting to try their BBQ for a while now. I have to say the wife and I was pleasantly surprised. Charlie and Dee were very friendly and helpful in our choices. In fact we had a small dinner party the next day and ordered our meal from them, our group loved it. One of my fav's is their smoked salmon. But don't be surprised if they sell out of your favorite, people gobble there meat quickly.

the best pulled pork sandwich I've ever had. I am not a big fan of pulled pork sandwiches but my wife is so I got a half chicken for me which was terrific and one pulled pork sandwich for her. I had one bite of it and said wow I actually want one of those! The buns with it are very soft and fresh. The sauce is a wonderful sweet barbecue sauce. and the pork and the chicken were both very flavorful great texture and moist. What more can you ask for BBQ?
The pulled pork, and the pulled chicken sandwiches were so good! It's my first time here, after reading about them on the Next Door app. They didn't disappoint me. It was soooooo good! 🤤
Absolutely delicious BBQ ! Have had the ribs, pulled pork, brisket sandwich, and baked beans, and all were GREAT! This pitmaster knows what he's doing! It's a roadside stand with takeout only. We were served within a few minutes of placing our order.
The meats are the best I have had in Tampa ever. But there portions are a bit small for the price. He was never like that when he got started, it's only been the past couple of years they cut back. The Mac n cheese has changed too. It's ok but not like before. But hands down ALL the workers always have a big smile on their faces and are always friendly.
