I came during the afternoon on a beautiful Sunday. Eric and Orlando were very attentive. The food is wonderful. I had calamari and some sushi which was delicious. Service was fantastic too. I highly recommend this place to others. It's right around the corner from me and is one of my go to places. Nice, casual, and outside to enjoy all this beautiful weather. I'll be back soon.
Fresh delicious Mediterranean food, best kafta kabab platter! Great entertainment/live music on weekends!
Bartender was very attentive. Made me an Apple Martini with just the right kick. I ordered a Philly Roll. That was also very good. I enjoyed the vibe: music, drinks, food, friends, conversation with a few ladies at the bar. I had a great time there.
Thank you Gabriel for taking us on a food journey. My friend and I visited here on a Monday and told him (1) thing we wanted and allowed him to surprise us with the rest. Each item was spectacular, ambiance was great and the restaurant is very spacious. Easy parking and plenty cute photo ops.
Happy Hour is Monday through Friday - perfect place for a work outing or lunch meeting.

I ordered the Volcano Roll and the Grilled Chicken With Mojo Sauce. My friend ordered the Grill Salmon. All of the dishes were fresh and delicious! Service was a bit slow considering we were only the two tables outside. Otherwise it was an enjoyable meal!
We attended this restaurant during Pride for an event and I was very impressed with the food and service. So impressed we decided to stay longer and enjoy the vibes well after the Sunday brunch ended. The unlimited mimosas was everything and the bartender Jancy was on fire 🔥 cause it was his birthday (Virgo season) so the drinks 🍹 had to be good and made to perfection. The lemon pepper wings was delicious. I love the outside patio. I will be back soon and this spot will be my new favorite place when I visit Tampa. They had some good hookah flavors. I was told Friday and Saturday nights has an amazing Vibe. I can’t wait to come back!
Thank you so much Island Bistro & Bar! This amazing place allowed me to host my baby shower late February and it was beautiful. The food was amazing, the owners and the host was so easy to work with and super nice, and we all had a great time. I would definitely recommend this restaurant/venue and plan on using them in the future.
My husband and I decided to go here for a last minute Valentine’s Day dinner and were pleasantly surprised. The vibe of the space is cute and the service was immaculate. The chicken with Caribbean sauce was FIRE. Phoebe was our server but we connected like friends by the end of the night; she was awesome! If you’re her boss & you’re reading this give her a bonus lol. She was very nice, with quick service & even took our pic for us, which she totally didn’t have to do so we greatly appreciated it! She recommended that we come back for karaoke night or brunch & because of her we will be back as loyal island bistro customers.
I recently visited this restaurant and I have to say, I was blown away by the experience. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the bartender Crystal was incredibly friendly and accommodating.
The drinks menu was also great, with a good selection of wines and cocktails to choose from. We ended up trying a few different drinks and they were all delicious.
The standout feature for me, though, was the service. Our waiter was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely interested in making our experience a great one. He made great recommendations and ensured we had everything we needed throughout the meal.
Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great dining experience. The food, drinks, and service were all top-notch, and I can't wait to come back again.
My second time here. OUR FIRST TIME with a party of 5 was a blast on carribean night. Naomi our amazing server was on point 10/10. Coals for the guava hookah, food was amazing we did the empanadas again, ceviche.
Do not recommend the dj that was there last night (we left early because the music was not enjoyable) not sure if he was having audio issues with the music cutting in and out and various volume changes within seconds.
Also the sweet tea is a hard pass. For reference it tastes exactly like Ipecac 🤮
Will def return for the food, hookah, just on a night with another event/DJ
