Coffee EVI has become my "home base" for when I'm in Tampa. April their new owner is such a great amazing person. SOOO much better than Starbucks!
What I didn't expect was the great "feel good food" with their protein pancake. Those keep me focused for hours. :)
I'd definitely recommend anyone who wants a great place to work, have a meeting, or meet up with an out of town friend, coffee EVI is the #1 place I'd recommend.

I had THE BEST experience here. The owner was so incredibly accommodating the atmosphere is wonderful the price is right! And you get allot of bang for your buck. The cook was also hilarious and very nice! I'll be making this a must go every time I'm in Tampa. Not to mention the coffee and tea was AMAZING.

A great family run coffee shop :o) I had the 1475 Signature Baguette with an Almond Joy Latte and some of the White Chocolate and Macadamia Nut cookies. I was very happy with my meal and the service. I'll definitely be going back.

These people are really nice. I'm sitting here while writing this review. They just offered the mail delivery guy a coffee for the road. They made me this gigantic omelette that was delicious. And the coffee is really good. Would come here any time. Will be back.

Great place for breakfast, lunch, or a coffee. There is a nice selection of coffee and tea drinks including a matcha tea latte which I haven't seen very often. There are also milk alternatives which is nice for those of us who don't handle lactose so well. Food is great. Some paleo friendly options using products from a local producer (Base Culture). I had the protein sandwich and it was fantastic. A great blend of flavor. Wish I was in this area more so I could frequent this place but will definitely be back when I'm down in Westshore again!

Love coming to Coffee Evi. Joel and his wife Yaz will make you feel like you're at home. Great ice coffee and sandwiches. Prices are super reasonable, service is great and wifi is really fast. Fantastic place to meet people and get ideas. Highly recommend!

Coffee Evi is a great local spot in the South Tampa / Westshore area. The coffee and food is so much better than the big chains in the area. It's also a perfect place for business meetings.

Each beverage is hand-crafted exactly the way you want it. The menu for lunch and breakfast has all the right stuff, including protein pancakes and smoothies with your choice of ingredients. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly and the free, high speed WiFi is a bonus. Looking for place to work or just hang out in Tampa? This is it, on Kennedy near the intersection with Dale Mabry.

This place is great. It's a short walk away from my house and makes for a great start to a Saturday morning. The protein pancake is a great meal that you can't really get anywhere else. Everything is reasonably priced and the service from the owner-operators is second to none. I've been in customer service for almost 6 years, so I know what it takes to give great service each time, and they are always extremely courteous. Only complaint — they're closed on Sundays, but hey, they've gotta sleep sometime!

YUCK. Look, I would like nothing more than to sit here and say that this local independent shop makes better coffee than Starbucks. But then I would be lying. I am not saying that Starbucks coffee is outstanding. I am saying that until these mom-n-pop, local, independent coffee shops start making coffee drinks that ACTUALLY TASTE GOOD, then I am going to stop going to a coffee shop and blowing 5 bucks on a latte unless it's at Starbucks.<br/><br/>Yes, the owners here were very nice.<br/><br/>Yes, the shop is tastefully decorated and relaxing. <br/><br/>Yes, I'm sure the (previously mentioned by other reviews) house-made foods are great (although I did not try them).<br/><br/>But if you are going to be a coffee shop, then you gotta know how to make coffee. YOU HAVE TO KNOW HOW TO MAKE ALL KINDS OF COFFEE, from regular coffee to espresso to French press, etc.<br/><br/>I ordered a latte here and it was a watery, weird tasting mess. It was awful.<br/><br/>I would not go back. I notice that none of the reviews before mine ACTUALLY TALK ABOUT THE COFFEE.<br/><br/>'NUFF SAID.

Loved it! The service is great, and you can tell the owners really care about their business and serving quality products. Stopped in for an iced coffee for a little caffeine boost before taking the MCAT, and I was very delighted. Toasted macaroon flavor + coffee ice cubes = coffee that gets richer with very sip. Will be back to try the food!

Excellent cappuccino! My friend got an espresso that was smooth and light. He rated it 9 out of 10. I had the protein pancake sandwich and thought it was good. The pancakes were lightly sweet with a hint of cinnamon. I'll get it again. I'm looking forward to coming back the next time I'm in Tampa. Thanks for the experience!

Groupon Friendly!!. I purchased a groupon for Coffee EVI and went to give it a try with my wife. Wow. Not only did they honor my groupon, but they gave me credit for the balance! Now that alone makes me a fan. The food was great...my wife and I had the protein pancakes with egg and sausage MADE TO ORDER. Now that makes me a bigger fan! No plastic wrapped mystery sandwich here. Finally, the coffee was terrific. Very fresh and reasonably priced ($2.00 for a very large cup). My wife had an iced latte with almond milk...kinda of rare to find almond milk in a lot of shops. The coffee made me the biggest fan!! So there you have it, a great little place on Kennedy serving original food, great coffee, and decent prices. Oh yea, they also have free WI-FI...but then doesn't everyone. Cheers.

Best iced coffee in town. They freeze coffee to make coffee ice cubes so your drink does not get watered down.

I had a nice visit at this quaint coffee spot. The owners are very friendly and attentive. I had great coffee and a very good sandwich called the 1475 made on fresh baked baguettes.

I stopped in at Coffee Evi for the first time and I just wanted a coffee. On the counter there was a picture of their “Signature Sandwich” . I had to try it. The Protein Pancake Sandwich can be ordered with pork or turkey sausage . No question there, it had to be the pork . The sandwich was a little small, probably by design. Don’t worry, it was the perfect portion . I really enjoyed the unique flavor the pancake provided. I’ll definitely put Coffee Evi on my breakfast rotation. Rating: 9 out of 10 Price: $4
