I have always ordered delivery from this place and now I've finally stepped inside for some dine-in experience. Tiffany, our server, was very attentive and unbelievably friendly. She made sure to check in when she could since there was a mountain of to-go orders being processed. The pictures are from Catepillar, Spider, and Volcano rolls. Top quality and great taste definitely a great experience!

I have thought about coming here probably hundreds of times over the past years... and never have. Now I regret that... what I had today was far superior to any of the local takeouts.
Staff was friendly and attentive, and made me feel welcome. They apparently do a pretty good takeout business as there were a lot of people picking up takeout orders.
I ordered off the Chinese menus... and ordered Hot and Sour soup, and Crispy Sesame Beef. The waitress asked what spice level I wanted and I told her HOT.
The soup arrived and was very pretty... loaded with tofu, wood ear mushroom and lily. It was a little bland... not sour enough. Needed more Black Vinegar, IMO. But it was good... and thick too.
When they brought out the Crispy Sesame Beef, I was impressed... large portion, lovely plating, and beautifully cooked. And it tasted as good as it looked. Nice combination of sweet and savory... and had a little bit of heat to it also. The Rice was perfect to... easy to eat with chopsticks, and delicious!
I checked out the sushi bar after eating... and it looked really good and fresh too. The unagi was making me hungry again!!
I will need to come back and try other dishes.

the food was absolutely delicious! sadly, i cannot give a rating higher than 5 stars, but the meal and presentation itself definitely exceeds the possible rating. the menu is extremely diverse with items such as eel, octopus, etc. but also provides a great amount of items great for vegans, vegetarians, pescatarians, etc. so no matter what your diet plan is, tokyo is a great restaurant! of course, the food looks nice on the pictures provided in the menu, but it all looks even better in person. the employees are very kind, and provide the most hot, fresh, and delicious soups! i was amazed how they made the tempura roll’s crust warm and sushi itself room temperature. hence, concluding my review, this is the most diverse & appetizing asian restaurant in all of tampa. congratulations and thank you tokyo! 👏🏻

We eat here WEEKLY some times twice weekly. And honestly if I'm even close to the area, sometimes we drive in just for the pork egg rolls.
Their food is consistent, Chris is amazing he is usually the one to help us he knows our usual at this point.
Their dumpling sauce is the best thing I can't figure out what is in it but it's honestly the best sauce I've tasted for dumplings in my life.

The food is great at Tokyo but it’s the people that own and work there that makes it our favorite. I’ve been bringing my daughter here since she was just a baby, she’s now 11. They treat her like royalty. Yang and everyone at Tokyo are truly nice people. This is the kind of place you want to spend your money.

OMG i stumble on this place by accident and so glad i did!!! The lunches are so delicious. My fav is the bourbon chicken... but their sushi rolls are out of this world!!!

This place has delicious food, Japanese rice, they could serve a little more rice because I find that every time I order a meal I am left with lots of meat but wanting more rice. Food is fresh and been around for more than 23 years, I know because I lived in Tampa for more than 20 years and this place has always been delicious and not expensive.

The spicy chicken fried rice is delicious. Huge portions ( Two shared a large with leftovers)
Spicy tuna roll is so so good! Better than most I’ve tried in Nashville. Lots of tuna. Delish!!
