Service was excellent. Waiter was very precise and attentive. Cost per meal was $15 each. Very affordable and portions were ample. I definitely will return.

The food was delicious, service was very warm and nice and we were quickly served our food. The food was outstanding. Flavorful and very fresh. They also have great boba options. Don’t skip this one, you won’t be disappointed.

The restaurant had authentic Vietnamese food with a wide array of options available on their menu. The waiters were extremely kind and considerate, and the food itself was brought to you very quickly. A must visit!

First pho place I visited when I landed in Tampa. I have to admit the pho broth is great, and the bowl was delicious. Egg rolls could have been better if they were freshly fried, seems like they were sitting for a bit. Other than that, it's a nice place to go get a quick bit.

Pho Quyen is a Vietnamese restaurant located on Fowler Avenue near the University of South Florida. Located in a plaza where it’s tricky to get ground, but it’s worth it. The decor seems updated, but unauthentic. I hoped for more creative decor like a Buddha or Vietnamese landmarks. The sign at the front seemed to be vandalized. The service was good, they repeated our order to make sure everything we got was correct. The food itself was very good, being that this is the first time I tried food from the Southeast Asia Peninsula. My chicken and rice was quite spicy for the things I’ve ordered. Everyone else had very good food. Update the decor a bit, and I’ll probably give this place 5 stars.

Been so long to come back here. It’s totally different in the good way. Their service is more welcoming and friendly. Their menu is more delicious food and very clear so you can easy to pick the one you like. The food is so good. And I also really love the lychee drink that they have, so good. Definitely come back!!!

First time here but what a delightful lunch! Tried the vermicelli grilled beef and the portion was large, perfect seasoning and the homemade spicy sauce was awesome. Ordered takeout dinner as well and equally well executed on the beef, but my wife’s pad Thai chicken was gross.

We tried a lot of Vietnamese restaurants. If you want to know how authentic the restaurant. The first thing to try is their pho. The soup base are the heart of them. Pho Quyen are the best if you like pho. The service is ok.

Just wow, what a surprise, glad I listen to my son and decided to try Vietnamese cuisine at Pho Quyen. He had Combo Pho and I got fried rice with grilled calamari. The portions were HUGE, more than enough to share between two adults. Also prices for their meals were VERY affordable. Another plus, clean and tastefully designed interior, with quiet music at the background were another bonus to the great dinner. Definitely will be stopping by to eat here next time we visit Bush Gardens.

I have to say they have greatly improved. I had went a long time ago and was very disappointed so I didn't go back for a long time. Today I decided to give it another try and I am glad I did. They had delicious food and reasonable prices and the inside looked beautiful. I had the shrimp bun and it was delicious. I will be back.

Amazing Pho and French Coffee!. I used to go here all the time when I went to USF. I recently moved to Lutz but still make it out here 2-3 times a month for their delicious food!

Went to Pho twice and love their Pho Soup! I order chicken and add shrimp to it, which tastes great. They give you enough for two large meals. See photo for details. Love this place!

Good but nothing special. Met a friend here in February 2013 for dinner as I was craving some pho and she had never had pho before. I've been to 2 other Pho Quyen locations before (in Town n Country, and Pinellas Park). The pho at the Fowler location was good but not as good as I've had at the other locations. It could have used more beef and I wish the beef had been rarer; it ended up being rather tough as a result. Otherwise, the experience was good - the service was good when I went, and you get a lot of food for a good price. As a side note, my friend got the vegetable pho and her bowl was LOADED with vegetables - it looked very good and VERY filling.

Mmm pho. Came here for the first time for lunch a few weeks ago. One of those few cold Tampa days. Their pho was outstanding and just what the cold called for. The noodles were wonderful as was the broth with plenty to take home for later. Will go back.

Pho Fridaaaay!. We've been dining here for the last 4 years! We love it. Whether it's authentic or not does not matter. BUT, there are tons of Asian people eating here. We get the fried egg rolls, 24B & 69. Every now and then we switch it up. I love the Chinese doughnut and the Chinese sausage. Staff is very friendly, atmosphere is a little less desirable and they could use new dining furniture.

This place is great for a cheap lunch or dinner. The service is quick and the staff is very pleasant

Alright. The food here is good, and the service is wonderful. I went with a friend, I ordered the fresh rolls for the table they were wonderful but maybe a little dry, though the peanut sauce was wonderful. My friend ordered the beef fried rice it was wonderful. My chief complaint was about the pho which I order. The broth was wonderful and flavorful, but, and I know this is odd there were to many noodles. I understand pho is noodle soup, but I like a little soup with my noodles if you know what I mean. There were probably three portions of noodles for one portion of broth. Not to my taste to say the least. But what really made the experience was the iced french coffee. It comes some assembly required. You get a little cup with sweetened condensed milk at the bottom and atop that is a small drip peculator of strong espresso then there is a glass of ice with a spoon. When the coffee is done dripping you mix the milk in with it and pour the wonderful elixir over the ice take a sip and have a small break in reality. I LOVED it! By far the best coffee I've had in a long time. I will definitely be back.

Pork Vermecelli. I personally love the pork vermicelli here. Delicious food, good prices!

Not the real thing. It says Pho Quyen, so I thought it was owned by the same people at the Hillsborough location. Wrong, the food was awfull and bland. I had the Pho and the make your own rolls, my brother ordered vermicelli with the curry chicken. His vermicelli came just a bowl of noodles with dry chicken on top, the rolls were awfull and my pho came out bland and the meats were thick and tough not like the other vietnamese places. If you are in the area try the one acrooss from this little mall, trust me its way better and more authentic. Even the servers there don't eat there and dont think its that good. Sorry guys but please try to improve the food.

I must agree with one reviewer who said this place is great for those who haven't experienced authentic Vietnamese cuisine. If you have experienced authentic Vietnamese food, this place is just ok. Nothing more than that, sorry.

Food was ok. Table cloth had puppies on it, kind of a food turn off.

This place would probably be satisfying to those who haven't experienced authentic Vietnamese food - but since I have and am a huge fan of Vietnamese cooking- this food is only ok- I tried it twice giving them the benefit of the doubt after a disappointing first meal, but the second trip was equally disappointing. I would not go again- although I did hear they are under new management so I may try one day since the switch.

Quyen-tessential Vietnamese. There should definitely be an addition to the constants in life: delicious food at Pho Quyen. From the fresh spring rolls to the vermicelli dishes, all of the offerings simply deliver. I've been to the restaurant on multiple occasions, and I've never had a bad experience. What's more, the service is always quick and efficient, essential components to any enjoyable meal.

One of my favorite resturants.. I dont like asian food as a general food but I love this place. 1) They have decent vegetarian dishes with immitation meat in them, instead of strictly vegetables or tofu, so I can get meals that are analogous to my carnivore friends. 2) The pineapple chicken, both in its immitation and real form, as I ate the same dish when I ate meat, is delicious and tastes so good! 3) The vietnamese iced coffee with sweetened condensed milk is to die for. It has a great rich, slightly bitter flavor that is just soooo good. I compare the taste to the Starbucks double shot espresso and cream in the mini cans, but better times 10! Another plus, the prices are really, really cheap!!

Not the same as other Pho Quyens. These Pho Quyen restaurants in the area bear the same name, but do not have the same food. The pho here was very bland, nothing like the Pho Quyen on Park Blvd. in St. Pete. Also, my beer was warm. I had to ask for a glass of ice to cool it down. Typical mom & pop sloppiness.

Good but.... This place is good, but if you like it here you have to go to the pho quyen on hillsborough ave. i always get the curry chicken soup (#33) and the one on hillsborough is more flavorful and quite different- in a good way. love them both though!

Authentic Vietnamese. Central to USF campus if u want a quick and healthy bite to eat between classes. I recommend the Pho and the broken rice dishes.

Phoriffic. My favorite Vietnamese restaurant in Tampa. Lots of windows, very clean, with a busy and bustling atmosphere for a reason. The pho! (about $7.00 depending on type and size of serving) The broth is excellent and full of flavor, the noodles are not mushy, great quality meats, and many assorted fresh herbs and toppings given. With Vietnamese food all of the herbs and veggies must be fresh and sanitary, which their's are consistenly. Make sure to start your meal with Goi Cuon ($3.50 rice paper rolls w/ peanut dipping sauce). Their grilled meat and rice plates are excellent and full of flavor $6.95-8.95. Make sure to order a Che Ba Mau for dessert ($2.95), aka rainbow drink. It is 3 kinds of beans and jellies, topped with sweet coconut milk and shaved ice. Excellent!
