WTR Pool and grill is attached to the hotel we were staying at so it's the first place we decided to eat. Upon arrival We couldn't sit at the bar because there was no bartender I guess they were outside bartending by the pool. We were then seated at a quaint table by the window chosen by us. The sudden thunderstorm knocked the power out but not for long the backup generator kicked in. After being seated we ordered ice water/w lemon and henny and cranberry which were a little watered down. For food we ordered Mahi Mahi sliders and the spice chicken and avocado sandwich which didn't come with avocado anymore you now had to pay for it as an add on a recent price hike I guess.. the Mahi was pan seared and cooked to perfection the parmesan fries were okay, the spicy chicken/w avocado and swiss cheese was tasty as well a little dry it needed a little extra sauce but all it we weren't disappointed and will more than likely be back.

First time and felt welcomed instantly, Jake’s a great bartender introduced me to the spot and now I’ll be a regular.

Sunday Fundays are amazing. It’s just what my crew and I do at WTR. We’re all friends with the staff, and security always does an amazing job looking out for us. The bartenders are amazing, (especially TJ.) Drinks are always on point, the atmosphere is always fun, and aside from the occasional storm, the weather is always perfect. We’ll do the occasional bottle service, which is always an amazing time, they really go over the top for bottle presentation. #nobadvibeshere

I went to WTR Pool and Grille for a lunch with a view. Definitely worth the experience. the outdoor seating was awesome with a great view. The food was absolutely delicious. The only inconvenience we had was the food all came out at different times which was slightly annoying but nothing significant from the overall experience. Great place def worth checking out.

The food was good but to me what made this visit one of a kind, were the views! There is just something about having drinks, good food and great company while being close to the water and witnessing beautiful sunsets. Truly priceless! Will definitely visit again next time I’m in the Tampa Bay area.

My company did a team building event there yesterday and I love this place. It used to be Hogan's Beach Club but was bought and renovated. The atmosphere with the pool and the gulf right there, was really nice. The service was awesome the whole time. We rented a couple cabanas and also an area next to them that had a huge sectional couch that went the full length of the wall. The pool and hot tub are awesome and there was a lot of beautiful women everywhere. I will be going back for sure. Highly recommend this place if you're single or to bring a date too.

Nice place at the water and it’s surprisingly calm and a lot of wildlife can be seen even so it’s quite close to a busy street. The fish tacos I had were excellent. Service was also very good. Gave it a 4 star only since the outside seating area was a little run down. Could be a revamp.

Definitely my favorite place to hang out during the summer! The people are beautiful the vibe is cool and by the end of the day you are tan and toasty!!! Great drinks great people great experience! This is definitely my favorite place to visit

Private cabanas with TV and a fridge, excellent for pool parties! Their daily events makes this place a happy one: Monday to Friday, Happy Hour 4-7pm cover $5 Family friendly. Thursday Karaoke. Friday Night Live, ni cover. Saturday Rose all day 11am - 6pm Brunch. Definitely a getaway option!

Came over for their Saturday Rose Bash at WTR to see Phantoms. The VIP view was incredible, and the outtake glass of rose was nice. I was literally right up to the DJ booth unlike other places I’ve been VIP at. Wish they hyped it up more. Only a couple dancers and a little bit of smoke here and there. Regardless, drinks weren’t too overpriced and although I didn’t experience the pool, it was nice to be up there in the middle of it all. I highly recommend you come over and pay the little bit extra for VIP. Yes, it needs a little extra work, but all in all it was awesome!

The food was great! I got the mahi-mahi sliders and my husband got the fish tacos. We order 2 sides of beans and rice, and my husband got a lightening lemonade (he said they didn’t skimp on the alcohol). The service was great as well, our server Jabari was so friendly and attentive. We’ll definitely be back.

We had mixed feelings about this place. Extremely beautiful location. Food was good. Except we had issues with our orders being wrong more than once. That fruit side is worth the money though fyi

I was visiting from New York and stopped into beach bar on the recommendation of my brother. We got in went to the back patio the waiter came to us and asked us if we wanted a menu. We said we didn't want anything to eat and assumed he would ask us if we wanted something to drink. What he said next was well enjoy the view and walked off.. After 20 minutes of being there I had to ask a different waiter to help us his name was Lenny. And he was the best server I have ever experienced in my life. We were there for about 3 hours and that first server never ever said a word to us after telling us to enjoy our view. I probably will never go back there

Well we choose this over Shepards because of travel time. We will not make that mistake again, even though Shepard's is a terrible drive on a holiday but we will suck it up and just leave extra early next time. Food was ok nothing special, selection was very small and they kept running out of everything I never got half the stuff I wanted to try. Sushi was gross one was like tuna in a can and no soy sauce or any type of spicy mayo or anything just super dry with ginger and wasabi. Crab legs and oysters were good but they did not have any melted butter available poor servers had to go find it and same with the crackers for the oysters I assume they do not have experience serving these items. Manager told me on the phone that bottomless mimosas and bloody's were a $5 up charge which I thought was good since the buffet was $34.95 but when we got there it was $5 each for bloodys which tasted gross super thick and odd flavor mix, and $10 for bottomless mimosas. Prices were not good for the quality and availability of the food. We will not ever go for brunch again just for a normal meal.

We bought a Groupon for $25 it was supposed to be a $48 value. It was only a $28 value. If you wanted cheese on your burger that was extra. If you wanted a premium draft beer that was extra. THE burger you can get is the $10 one and the draft beer is $4.

The Beach Bar and Restaurant offers a delicious menu. Thanks to Chris, the restaurant manager who provides an excellent performance and our waiter Brian. I recommend this place 100%

Venue awesome! Even though half of it is under construction. Waited 1/2 hour to get a table at 2pm. Took a bit to get our order in. Our app plates were dirty & didn't get a chance to ask the waitress for new ones. Appetizer was chicken quesadilla, came out lukewarm and the guacamole had started to brown (meaning it was sitting there for awhile). Ordered the donut burger, medium with chips and salsa. Got the burger well done and no salsa. And there was someone else's buffalo sauce on the sides of my plate. Chips seemed a bit stale. When we did get the salsa it was more like chili w/o meat. Seemed if you weren't a party of 4 or more, you didn't get serviced as well. Got the check, bf put his card out and I went to the bathroom (on the complete opposite end of the building) came back & it still wasn't taken. Took another 5 minutes for the waitress to take it. Don't think we will be back any time soon.

I typically only rate businesses when I have a good experience...I was excited about the opportunity to visit Beach with a girlfriend of mine for a early Happy Hour girls night out! I had been to this location before it becoming the beach...The inside renovations looked great when we walked in, we requested a table outside...and for there the experience was downhill...We waited for almost 20 minutes before a serve would even come over to greet us, several times there were servers that walked right past with no acknowledgement, we had menus in hand, and no drinks. We finally had someone come over who wasn't even our server took an order, then proceeded to tell us she wasn't our server, but would tell the server our order as she pointed him out...we watched another 5 minutes go by before he placed our order (We kept an eye out, as this person earlier when we asked to sit on the couches since the gentelman had gotten up, was pretty rude to my friend)- Needless to say after he finally came over our service was poor..We order Champagne splits...Handed our mini bottle each time (I know its a casual restaurant but i would think you could at least pour the first time)...We asked for napkins on 3 different occasions, as there were no set-ups on the tables, and the food was ok....Needless to say we were both very disappointed in the service (Which was very poor)- Our server acted as though we were a nuisance...I am not sure we will be back, and hope that management can do a better job of training their employees on better customer service... I totally understand people have bad days, but the whole experience was not enjoyable- minus the view of the water was great...It's unfortunate as I think this place could be cute with some changes. (Side note this review is coming from someone who spent 6 years in the hospitality industry)

Oyster Rockefeller were good nachos however weren't. Who ever cooked them didn't put much care into them. Cool place and won't judge off of one plate

I went there for the 2018 New Years Eve celebration. It was a cost of 75 dollars per person and was promised open bar till 1 and food to eat. When we got there around 9:30, there was one serving of food left in the hot trays. The outside bar closed down way before 1 and the hot food trays were empty most of the night. I will not be returning ever again and I am so glad I did not do the VIP package.

Well!! I was thinking go to this place next week but I was reading the reviews and I didn't read anything good about this place but complaints. Im afraid to go there cuz I like to spend my money where employees treat me good but it seems like is not costumer service at all in this place.

Celebrated my husbands 50th Birthday at "the Beach Bar" on Saturday night. The service was EXCEPTIONAL! The food and drinks were delicious. We had an amazing time in a beautiful setting. Chef Joe Garcia is top notch. Can't wait until our next visit! Special thanks to Chris and the entire staff for the fabulous experience.

Rundown. Hogan's was well maintained and overall an enjoyable place. This place is none of the above. Note to management/Owner- Fix your deck- maintain your bathrooms- O and CLEAN them! The only positive is the view- I will be taking my business to Whiskey Joe's from here on out. #sameview

Amazing place. Enjoyed it there. Stayed for three days and spent most of our time at beach and whiskey joes. Great atmosphere and friendly staff.

We had a wonderful time n the staff at The Beach Club David the bartender,Scooter in management n the event staff were excellent, even HCS made the event enjoyable. Food was good n would recommend it for both events or just going to the restaurant. As for the show AMAZING DJz Gemini, Santana n Suzy Solar all local legendz who will alwayz be at the top n Cosmic Gate phenomenal , one great event.

We stayed at the attached hotel for the weekend and spent much time at Beach restaurant and bar. The concept is great ... location, venue , upscale inside and tiki bar atmosphere outside. The food for the most part was very good ... only complaint was the blue cheese dressing was watered down and tasteless. The tacos are phenomenal! The wings crispy, huge and tasty. The service we found good and got better each day as the staff began to recognize us. They were always friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately as entertainment goes Beach was lacking. Being a local, I attribute this to off season. The outdoor area is set up for great fun ... volleyball , cabanas and many areas to converse and mingle if the crowd was there. We truly enjoyed our time and plan to return on an occasional "stay cation".

GREAT SERVICE from the moment we walked into the door. We ordered food and drinks and only waited maybe 15 minutes to receive our food! Great view and amazing drinks! Couldn’t ask for a better last night in Tampa while on vacation!
