Well, took a while but finally found a family Italian restaurant with authentic Italian recipes and cooking. Food was amazing! Booked 6:30 reservation online at 6:05 and headed on our way. Warm greating by the hosts and was promptly seated. Restaurant kind of looks and feels like an old house (might be?). Which makes a great setting and atmosphere for comfort food. Our waitress Jackie was excellent. Very friendly and outgoing, and knows the menu well. Fresh bread with oil and pickled garlic, yum! We decided to try the meatballs appetizer. Jack pot!Outstanding and huge portion. I got the lasagna, which was best I've ever had from a restaurant. My wife had the gnocchi and loved it. Was told the chef is from Northern Italy as well as the food/recipes. Not a huge menu, which means he cooks fresh ingredients and cooks what he likes and knows well. We will be going back..... soon. I want to try other items, but it's going to be hard to pass up that lasagna! Yes, clean bathroom and clean restaurant.

One of the best Italian restaurants I've been to. Everything we had was delicious. Lasagna, veal Parmesan, gnocchi, nonno pasquale, and the grouper special was amazing. We had one of each dessert and they were all good fave was the Tiramisu. Coffee and latte was great also. Service was phenomenal, thanks to Jackie!! She took excellent care of us. Will be back!!

The food and drinks were delicious. I ordered an old fashioned and gnocchi. The gnocchi was perfectly cooked and the Gorgonzola sauce it was in tasted delicious. We also ordered calamari for the table. It was so tender and crispy. I highly recommend.

It’s a cheese, béchamel and pasta paradise! Flavor town to the nth degree! Gracious service all the way around! Felt like going to a friends home. This chef really knows his (Northern) Italian stuff. Caesar salad, Polpette di Carne meatballs, Nonna Tina Lasagna, Mussels Fra Diavolo. Everything was superb. Run don’t walk here!

Luigi was excellent. Very nice wine/cream sauce. Using very nice Parmesan on dishes. Everyone was very happy with meal. Michael and Alessandra made excellent team service. Building in/out is dated, not to same standards as food and service.

These meatballs were expertly crafted, boasting a perfect balance of tender meat and savory seasoning. The plump and succulent mussels were a testament to freshness and quality. Cooked to perfection, they were tender and brimming with the flavors of the sea. We also enjoyed the bruschetta and pasta - a happy hour worth checking out!

Amazing restaurant! Everything is fresh and bursting with flavor. They serve an excellent charcuterie board with spiced olives, prosciutto, and a nice cheese selection. The meatballs are savory and oh-so-tender. The Nonna Pasquale was also excellent, with a gorgeous gorgonzola cream sauce. What a great local gem.

This place is legit. We haven’t had food this good since we visited Italy ten years ago!!!! Staff is nice and the owner walks around and checks on everyone. It feels like a place where there are regulars and everyone knows everyone else. :-) Will be returning with kids next time. It’s a gem - do yourself a favor and try it out. I had the gnocchi which was just amazing!

Awesome overall experience. We have been there twice and both times the meatball appetizer was amazing!! Puts your grandma's meatballs to shame!! The Italian Margarita is tasty, decent prices all around, wonderful canolli dessert and I really enjoyed the romantic lighting! We will be back soon.

This was our first time at Trattoria Pasquale, and we will definitely be back, and with friends. Casey, the hostess greeted us immediately and was very friendly. Our server, Johnny, was exceptional with service, as well as extremely knowledgeable about the food and wine menu. For sure you must try the meatball appetizer and Caesar salad, love the dressing. The atmosphere, staff, wine, and food were awesome! We had a wonderful, not rushed, relaxing dining experience! Highly recommend!!

So I am from The Rome-Utica NY area with exceptional Italian restaurants. This was comparable and the fact that the owner talked to us and introduced his monthly regional concept was super. Highly recommend this small intimate gastro opportunity. Bring your on wine and enjoy!

Great food as always. Had the burrata, linguine ai frutti di mare and pollo nona pasqualle, limoncello cake and cannoli. The best italian food that I ate outside of Italy. Probably better than some i had in Italy :)

Love this small and quaint restaurant. Great Italian food, and last night I had Schnitzel! I thought I was back in Austria it was so good. One of the best things about this restaurant is that you can BYOB. I can bring my favorite vino and have a home cooked, authentic meal. Chef is wonderful and usually stops by to check on you during your meal if the kitchen is not too busy.

Horrilbe. I've been here twice.....forgotten both times. It's not like it's a big place, maybe ten tables. Went there with my wife and two kids, only to be forgotten. After an hour and fifteen minutes of waiting for some spaghetti we had to leave in order to feed the kids. This place is a joke, unless you know the owner. If you aren't on the list, I suggest you go somewhere else.

The Fallafa Luigi was excellent with a slight heat from the homemade sausage. The calamari was one of the best I've had with a light breading and nice garlic note.

Amazing food!!! Family friendly & priced accordingly. I have been to this restaurant three times and every time the food is AMAZING. The one meal I could eat every day for the rest of my life was a special - Pork shank and gnocci (spelling?). Also, the venison pasta special is amazing! The food melts in your mouth and the flavor combinations are well thought out and the flavor suprises you to the last bite! The tiramisu and canolis are awesome too! I like that the TV shows pictures of the Italian family that owns the restaurant visiting their family in Italy! I would recommend this restaurant for families, those wanting to take their date to an amazing meal, business lunchs/dinners, or just stop in to pick up some grub by yourself. They also allow you to bring your own wine I believe!

First time eating at the Trattoria Pascuale. We enjoyed lasagna with meatsauce and eggplant dishes, Excellent dishes , very tasteful, Real Italian flavour in them. The family owners personal attention was exellent as well. We will now continue to have meals at their restaurant along Manhattan Ave site, Here in Tampa Bay.

I hate to knock local small independently own places but people deserve to know about the food here. It really is awful. If you're going to open a restaurant have some pride in the product you put out. Make sure you can maybe cook better than my mother in law. It started with a salad from a bag and then to the chicken park. If you can't make chicken park, do NOT open an Italian restaurant! It was chewy and maybe a little raw. The farfalle with homemade sausage. It tasted like feet. Please, please -- focus on the quality of food you serve other human beings. I'm not even touching the decor...

Wow is all I can say. After hearing great reviews about how great the food is. Well obviously these folks have forgotten that you also need good service too. How convenient that 30 minutes after waiting for calamari we are told the fryer is broken. This is after we arrived after calling and being told that they won't hold tables or take reservations, yet when we arrive a the only tables available were being held for a party of 8. I cant speak for the food as of yet as I am still waiting for my food to arrive after being here one hour. Jeez, if I would have known I was eating 2 hours after getting here I would have ordered an appetizer. Oh wait, I did......

Entrees-Delicioso! Very nice family, love when the chef/owner comes over to table- also appreciate that Luigi will try (if not too busy) to make you a non menu item of your desire. BUT....the dessert (cannoli) was not good. 3 1/2 out of 4 stars in my book, only because-decor/ ambiance is absent (how bout some small votive candles and maybe a fresh flower on tables, very dark...and the dessert menu needs help... Will recommend and return, because the entrees were wonderful, and I love a hardworking Mom & Pop shop.

Excellent, Authentic Italian. We absolutely loved the food here! Very authentic Italian food made with fresh ingredients. The owner is very friendly and is also the head chef. They do not serve alcohol but they do allow you to bring in a bottle of wine and will not charge a corking fee. We will definitely be going back, the food is just amazing.

Trattoria Pasquale. Excellent and authentic! If you're ready to leave behind the chains for real Italian in a cozy Mom' N Pop atmosphere, then you've gotta try this place. So far, I've had the ravioli with puccini mushrooms and the veal milanese and both were delicious. Portions were generous and the price is VERY reasonable. The owner-chef, Luigi and his wife, Maria make you feel very at home.
