Review Burger 21 - Carrollwood - Tampa

This third visit to the restaurant still offers the best burger of the same quality. The restaurant prepares the most delicious burgers, the burgers are tender, with the addition of jalapenos. You can get a cheeseburger + fries for $8.99. I chose hot ketchup, their special sauce called 21, and Honey Master. The place is spacious and has a variety of seats. And the over-described strawberries are crispy and skinny I hope to open several branches and I wish you success. Thanks to the manager✨✨

Very good burger, American classic burger, they cook it right there in the moment. This is a burger that is made not pre made. They have a really interesting/good sauce I recommend you try! Also good price/quality

Good burger joint, nothing great. Had a #7 Tex-Mex burger and like I said, it was nothing great. Place was clean, nice layout, and friendly staff, other than that it seemed to be just another burger joint. However I would likely come back to try out their shakes. Price wise, it was neither expensive nor inexpensive. I spent ~$12 for their small burger, fries, and a drink. *No military discount

Stopped in for lunch with my wife and daughter today. Was greeted by 2 employees. We made our order on the kiosk. Our food, drinks and shakes were out quickly. Hot and delicious. 2 burgers and a kids hot dog. Burger21 is pricy but most good food chains are these days! Shout out to Dominic (todays manager) he went table to table asking if anything was needed, if our food was good and thanks for coming in. We will return 🍔 🍟 🥤

The burgers are tasty and presentation and taste are always consistent, the restaurants well maintained, and the staff is friendly. Those milkshakes can be a problem for anyone watching their weight!

Prices are like 5 Guys, where you buy your burger then pay additional for sides and drinks. Except the kids meal which is bundled. The flavors and cook on everything was very good. Though the $1.50 up charge for 1 Tablespoon of guacamole is too much. I asked for them to fill my milkshake ALL the way up not 1" from the top. My kids were pleased with their hot dog/burger. String onions and skinny sweet potato fries were nice and crunchy. We had coupons for the kids meals from school so I only had to pay for MY burger, fries, drink and our churro milkshake to share and it was $28. The churro chunks in the milkshake are great, unfortunately the partial churro on top is quite stale- they don't store well I suppose.

Went to Burger21 for the first time last Sunday 7/19/2020 evening (~5pm) after reading the reviews and was mixed walking away. I’ll start with the good; I ordered a BBQ Bacon Burger and it was cooked perfectly. The sweetness of the onion straws were outstanding. Boss lady ordered a Buffalo Chicken that was definitely soaked in buffalo sauce and while I appreciated the hotness level, she was overwhelmed with the spiciness. Now to the bad; ordered my daughter a Grilled Cheese Sandwich and the pictures are the result of the order. It was a cheeseburger bun, toasted on one side, and some warm cheese in the middle. Needless to say I was more than disappointed and after waiting a long time for the food, I didn’t want to wait any longer for a different kids meal. Another bad was the skinny, not really tasteful, French fries and don’t recommend those if you are on the fence. Ended up stealing the boss lady’s onion straws because they were a perfect balance of onion size and breading. Think half the size of the width of the onions in a Blooming Onion from Outback. I originally was going to leave three stars but I bumped it to four because of the girl that was working the counter was unbelievably polite, professional, and expeditious. I overheard that one of the other employees had to go home temporarily and she was covering the front all alone and she did great. She hustled our food, condiments, and was extremely friendly to our kids too. Definitely made our experience worth it just because of how pleasant she was to deal with. If I was Burger21 owner, I’d want to staff all my restaurants with people just like her.

Great service and food. They have an excellent Burger menu with lots of interesting combinations. Everything is a la carte. You order at the counter and your food is brought out to you at your table. I tried the Cinco burger and it was pretty good. It has fresh jalapenos on it so it's on the spicier side. I also ordered the onion strings and I'm a huge fan! It's battered and fried thin strings of onion. The seasoning of the batter is really tasty and it doesn't start to come off like you experience with normal onion rings. Every bite is crunchy, tender, oniony, and delicious. My daughter ordered a kid's burger, which came with fries and a milkshake. The burger is totally bare bones- it's a patty with a bun. It cost extra to add cheese. The menu says that all kids burgers are cooked well done, but they cooked hers to medium at my request. (She said her burger was great and proudly showed me the pink center of her patty.) I took a little sip of her Oreo cookies and cream milkshake, and it was hard not to drink anymore because it was so delicious! They really capture the "cookie" aspect of cookies and cream. Their sauce bar is really cool, and helps to set them apart. They have a signature sauce that's good. It's a mayo based sauce with a paprika-y flavor. They have a ton of options though, and I got the impression that they switch some of them out. Oh, and they have salt and pepper grinders.

I’ve been going to Burger 21 off and on for many years and different locations around the area. This location is generally clean with friendly service. Although it’s not a burger, I really wish they would bring back the Chicken Parm. It was my go-to sandwich when I didn’t want a burger and it was dropped off the menu a year or two ago. For this reason I don’t go much anymore. I tried their “Crispy Chick” which was ok but it’s not the chicken parm. I’d go more a lot often if they brought it back.

My first time trying it out. Ordered a cheeseburger via doordash. The cheeseburger was great. I am not a big fan of sweet potato fries but these ones are really good. I tried the 21 sauce and cajun dipping both were good. Will definitely try it again 👍🏻

I had the bacon Bleu cheese sliders which I admit I was skeptical on the combination but absolutely loved it! Something different but tasty and comforting. The bacon scallion cheese fries were to die for...like this is my new fave place. I can't wait to try the salads they looked so delicious that my friends ordered. Would definitely recommend for laid back date night, family fun or just cause you are hungry and these portions are worth the price.

My first time and I was very pleased. Great customer service and my burger was cooked perfect. (I asked for medium well). I will definitely cpme back and recommend your place.

Really bad experience this time, the food was extremely salty, including the French fries, my son and I were not able to eat. I mention to the waiter he responde oh yes when they are and a hurry they go so fast and pour bunch of salt. Are you kitting me?

Almost always top notch, service, food, location, everything! Love the burgers, especially the Cinco, and the Tex Mex Haystack! Fries are good, shakes are excellent, if a bit small.

Today's meal was less than your normal best, but the staff who asked how everything was actually did listen and he took corrective action to send me away with an attitude that will keep a repeat customer. No business gets it right every time, but the successful business is the one that knows how to listen and gives its staff the authority to solve problems. It was a good save.

Food was delicious I just wish they wouldnt spread the margarine on the buns. The cheese, bacon, meat are good quality and taste suburb. I go to take a bite and all I taste is chemical butter. My husband doesnt mind it but to me its horrible. Other than that, our food is always cooked perfectly.

Peaceful environment,welcoming staff,fast service and most of all great selection...for those that love vegie, seafood to those that are meat lovers....this is a place you'll love.

Have eaten here many times since it's close to my work, most of the on line orders have been wrong and cold. Not sure why it's so hard to make orders correctly? They are either under or overcooked or missing something like the espresso beans in the espresso shake, how do you forget the main part? And why say you want to pick it up at 11:40 but then get your food handed to you at 12:10? The attitude from the workers really did not help a thing.

The restaurant is always bright and clean. The servers are always polite and friendly. It has that Friendly neighborhood feel to it. The salads are great. The managers are always visible and if you have any problems with your order they are quick to rectify. The shakes are to die for and the have a great selections on the menu. Would recommend it to everyone.

The lettuce bun is excellent!! Makes indulging in the 1/2 sweet !/2 regular fries possible!!!

First time going. Food came out fast. Staff was friendly. Burger and fries were hot and fresh. Be sure to try their ragin cajun and thai ketchup sauces.
