Fun atmosphere and nice crowd not too much also dj plays all good music I am always dancing before I get to my table š I've had conversations with some customers that were friendly as well I hung out around Halloween took pictures and had a blast!!! I loved the decorations it was awesome for pictures! I will eat more next time and I love that they make frozen drinks as an island girl we drink them year round and it's becoming harder to find bars that still makes Frozen Daquri!

We love the Sail Plaza and the neighboring Big Rays :) Aside from the food, drinks and service being wonderful, this team puts up the greatest Halloween decorations in the city. I took a few photos the other day when they started to set them up.

Wonderful outdoor atmosphere to gather along the Riverwalk. Stopped in before the blake shelton concert and had a pre-game cocktail.
My drink was stroooong. I didn't need much after that. It's hard to enjoy, though, but you don't want to waste it at the same time.
It was so relaxing, though. The menu was small, and we decided to grab something at the arena that night.

Love how they extended their seating area and its covered. Also Love how they have separate pickup food area then the bar which makes total sense. This way the bar area is not too crowded. Also Loveā¤the pager ideaš”When the kitchen is backed up, you get a pager instead of just standing there and waiting for your order. Good thinkingš¤š

Great place, perfect location on the water and near so many fun places - the Riverwalk, Convention Center, JW Marriott, Harbour Island and much more. Great drinks! Friendly staff. Lots of TVs to make for a great place to watch football or hockey games.

Definitely one of my favorite places to stop at when we come out here! We usually bike around and stop for a drink. We finally brought the dog out and they even had a treat and a dog water bowl to offer her! The people that work here have such a great personality! Itās perfect during the day or the night. Love it and will continue to stop by!

What a fun place ! We went there a couple nights in a row, one for the Gasparilla bowl fan/band rally, and then two days later for the boat parade. Awesome scenery too

So, my girlfriend and I have been here twice so far. The first time was when they had the food trucks. I must say thatās the best night to go there. We tried something off of each truck, and it was amazing. I believe they call it Brews n Bites.
The second time was yesterday. Both times it was busy and the server was with us in about ten minutes. Both times they were courteous and earned respectable tips. The food served by the actual Sail wasnāt the best to be honest. The Cuban Nachos we got were lukewarm, soggy and the chips were very generic. The Cuban Sandwich I got and the burger my girlfriend got were OK, but Iāve had better. Where The Sail really shines is their drink menu. My girlfriend had a drink called The Sail Phone. I canāt remember what I had but it was amazing too. Lastly, the view is amazing. It was basically the best view Iād ever had of the water around Tampa.
My final rating is a 4/5. The only drawback is the actual food The Sail serves. I recommend going for the drinks, but I wouldnāt recommend eating there unless itās on a Brews n Bites night. Plus, again, the view and atmosphere is amazing.

Looked like a fun place with a great view but when we sat ourselves down at a table like the signed said, we had to wait 30 minutes and still no one came to our table to take a drink order. So we finally had to find a server and asked for some service. There still seemed to be confusion and we waited another 10-15 minutes to get a server. Not happy with having to wait so long and the food was mediocre! Drinks were delicious but definitely not going back.

The table we sat at was dirty and sticky. I had to find a napkin and wet it and wipe it myself. The draft beer was warm and service is okay-ish. On the positive, itās a place on the water you can boat up to for a drink. Sure weāll be back because it is somewhere to sit and enjoy a beautiful day with a drink but itās just āok.ā

It has a beautiful view, but because of that they charge higher prices for decent food. However, a mistake was made with my dinner and the manger came over and wanted to give me an entire new meal (after I ate most of the first one) to make up for it. That resonates with me and therefore I had a very good experience because of their consideration. And Now I have breakfast for tomorrow.

The frozen daiquiriās are great, they come virgin or spiked, perfect for families. The Cuban sandwich was awesome, and I donāt usually like Cuban sandwiches š„Ŗ.
The reason for 4 stars instead of 5: The waitress wouldnāt deliver water even though we asked a few times, and you couldnāt get it yourself. Also, mosquitoes and āno-see-umsā. I have a lot of bites. This has no bearing on how good the food and drinks are. The service is generally really good too.

Food was really good. Salads were very fresh, my friends grouper was excellent. My grilled chicken was delicious. Our server, Sara, was delightful & the service was good. We'd definitely go back when we're in Tampa again.

The Sail is the place to go if you want to look out in the Harbor while hanging with awesome people...the Staff is the best in Tampa! Love The Sail Bar!
