The food here was okay I have eaten at way better Sushi places in the country. I picked Soho Sushi as it rated high however, I was not impressed. The service was okay nothing special the waitress seemed a bit stressed but was okay. If you do go to Soho Sushi the crispy rice dishes are amazing but the sushi was basic nothing unique or creative about it. This is a nice place to chill get a quick bit but nothing extra about it, I am from Miami so I have been to places that are out of this world, I would not say Soho Sushi is one of those places. Parking is crazy we parked across the street and walked as there is no parking just valet from what we saw.

I am not a sushi lover but my daughter suggested we go here. They have a parking lot but it is small and shared with another restaurant, also there is valet parking. We had to wait about 10 minutes for our table. There is not much room actually you have to stand in-front if the door. My daughter got sushi, KAT roll. She said overall fresh but could be more flavorful. I got Katsu, is like chicken schnitzel. It was thin and crispy and I like it. There is moderate level of noise and tables and close to each other. They have an open kitchen style. For two we paid around 60$, one beer included.

We went to SoHo for an anniversary dinner without reservations. The hostess seated us the bar area, which was quiet and off in a corner. It was perfect. The sushi was amazing. We have had sushi many places, and this place is absolutely the best sushi we have had. All the staff were friendly and professional. The only downside is that the size lot has limited parking.

Sushi rolls are very good, most of the time. Getting 4 stars because of inconsistency. Fish has always been fresh. Kiss of fire is our favorite roll. They have free valet parking but we prefer parking our own vehicle, parking lot is a bit precarious.

SoHo Sushi is absolutely my favorite place for sushi in Tampa. I advise going on a weeknight because they are always packed, and weekends are crazy busy. The Mexican Roll was the favorite at my table.

Went there during lunch after running an errand, beautiful place inside! We were seated promptly even though they were pretty busy. Delicious sushi, very fresh! The Chicken Yakitori appetizer was so good!

Tampa Bay Restaurant Week. Soho Sushi. Located in a strip center on W. Kennedy, Soho does a very busy lunch business. Prix-Fixe Menu is $55 for 2 with 4 courses.
The selection is huge, choose 1 of 7 starters, any 2 sushi rolls, any 2 specialty rolls and 1 of 3 desserts. The wife and I loved our selection and the Fried Oreo dessert was amazing. We had the Mexican, Spider, Volcano and Candy Cane rolls. All of them were very good.
Having in my past, sat for 2 years across the counter from a 70 year old Japanese Sushi Master, there are things I notice. Soho is on the cusp of being 5 stars but the chefs I saw lack the experience and intense training that used to be the benchmark for sushi chefs.
I opted for a nice variety of items. Kiss Me Roll, Hamachi Kama, 2 Steamed Buns (Katsu and Pork Belly) and a couple Salmon Skin Hand Rolls. Presentation was mostly good. Loved the Kiss Me roll with the citrus flavor and that kiss of heat. The Katsu bun was excellent but the Pork Belly missed the mark, did not care for the piece of pork belly inside. The hamachi was just ok to me. An intense fish flavor due to the soft skin and light cooking preparation. I prefer the skin to be more crispy while the fish remain juicy. The hand rolls tasted fantastic with perfectly crispy salmon skin but they were very loosely rolled. I myself, honestly, roll them tighter.
Today the lack of experience showed on the sushi chefs. Not sure if they are the regulars or if they change on certain days or shifts. Also, I wanted to try some very high grade sashimi but they had none.

Wonderful food, servers & chefs! I started with an Appetizer then added a custom roll & finished with fried ice cream, it was a treat for sure.

All around the best casual sushi place in tampa! It does not disappoint! I am planning to go back soon.

Best sushi place in Tampa for real! Everything here was amazing from the sushi to the drinks. The fish was fresh and had a nice bite to it. The quality was definitely worth the price. The service was great and the staff was friendly as we tried to decide what to order. The location was a little small and parking was horrible, but I would go through it all again just to have this sashimi.

Really wonderful sushi restaurant in Tampa. All the food wet had was fantastic and the service was wonderful. Parking is not plentiful but there is a free valet. This place is very popular so I would recommend reservations at least on Friday nights and the weekend. The seaweed salad was very bright and fresh. The Florida and kamakaze rolls were fantastic. my favorite roll was the carnival crunch. Lots of flavors on that one, is nicely crunchy, and I am a big fan of jalapenos

Everything about this place was amazing! Valet, service, atmosphere, and the food is top notch. Went out for a date with my boyfriend and I, it was our first time and we will definitely be back! He’s not a big sushi fan but he absolutely loved the food here!

My sushi place since I moved in to the Tampa Bay Area 12 years ago. I have probably tried every single sushi in this restaurant. You won’t go wrong with any of them. Make sure you make a reservation before you go, since it is always packed.
UPDATE
Out last order rice had a weird taste and texture, and fish didn't look fresh. We had never had issues with Soho before. I hope this is an isolated case.

Best Sushi in Tampa Bay area, this place is Amazing. It is always crowded but the service is amazing, our food got served really fast despite of the many customers. Drinks are expensive but considering the quality of the sushi here the prices are okay. Red devil and volcano recommended. Really looking forward to have dinner at this place again. Valet is free

Had an awesome meal here last weekend. Sushi was super fresh and our waitress was friendly. Only complaint would be how tightly they seat tables to pack more people in. Felt like cafeteria style seating - we were right in the middle of the conversations happening at the tables beside us. Other than that, would highly recommend!

My weekly go to place. Best sushi in Tampa Bay. Always busy though, for the right reasons
