Viva Cafe has American fare, with tasty food, and a good variety. They have friendly family staff. It is a clean restaurant and kitchen with good prices and value. They even have takeout and nearby delivery.

It's tucked away in an unconventional location of an office building but the food really is worth it.
If just passing through on Exit 199 I would recommend it over the other places at that exit.

I eat here 1-2 times per week. Always great food no matter my selection. I recommend both the Chicken-Bacon Quesadillas and Philly Cheese Wrap, with French Fries as your side. Delicious! They are now open until 10:30PM and start delivering at 4PM, Sun-Sat. They deliver to homes, hotels, businesses and even to the tree cutters and utility companies who couldn't leave their jobs back during the hurricane. What a great local place! I ordered a Philly cheese steak wrap and it was delicious. Freshly cooked right on the spot. All ingredients were good, and the wrap was beautifully crafted. The gentleman Sava provided excellent service and was very friendly. Will definitely be back SOON, and I highly recommend Viva Cafe.
When this place first opened up, I was highly skeptical. Then all of my co-workers started RAVING about it. After hearing so many great things, I decided to stroll through.......and have continued to stroll through ever since. They have THE nicest owners, Sava and Fili, a husband and wife team. The portions are enormous, almost everything is less than $10 and EVERYTHING is made to order right in front of you. Do yourself a favor and experience the pleasantries at Viva Cafe!
Absolutely delicious! The place is located within an office building and is run by one man who makes all the food fresh. The food takes a bit to make but is so worth the wait! Thank you for such a surprising find!
Small 6-top place on the first floor of an office building. I was traveling from Pensacola to Jacksonville and did a quick browse of the Talla area for dinner. Needless to say a 100% rating quickly caught my eye! After some trouble finding the place I must say it is well worth that rating for a friendly little greasy spoon.
Two brothers run and operate the Viva Cafe and they are both friendly and approachable. I had the filli cheesesteak on the hoagie and fries. There was a ton of meat and cheese and vegtables on the sandwich and it was just oozing flavor. The fries were also well seasoned and cooked perfectly.
You know that you have found a great place when as the office workers leave for home each one calls out a goodnight to the guys behind the counter and they know each one by name.

An absolutely great out of the way place. Philly style chicken sandwich rivaled anything I have eaten in Philly PA. Everything was cooked to order. Portions were very generous. Prices very reasonable. Great service too. A definite return trip. There is a reason why Viva Cafe has a 100% like rate
Truly excellent food and the owners are very nice. Food is made to order, so consider calling in to order ahead of time if you're in a rush. Me and my gf had the Philly style chicken sandwich with fries, and a Cobb salad. Both were great. We'll be back for sure!
As lunch goes this is a hidden gem. The two brothers that run the place are awesome and the food they make is fantastic. Might be the best Philly Cheese Steak in Tally.
My wife and I saw the excellent reviews and stopped in while travelling through Tallahassee. The 5 stars were well earned. We each got a club with fries, and everything was made fresh to order. The club was great and the spicy mayo on the side gave it just enough of a twist to be truly unique and even more delicious. My wife loved her food so much she ordered a Philly cheesesteak to bring home to New Orleans to eat tomorrow. We ate a wonderful meal and chatted with the owner about his kids (for whom the restaurant is named). He even stayed past closing time to continue talking to us. With three meals and two drinks the total was still under $25. We will definitely stop again when we come back to Tallahassee.
We were welcomed by some of the warmest greetings I can recall ever being served in a very very long time. The service was beyond good for the tiny Cafe. A few items were suggested. The food is simple but amazing.. The fries were perfect and hit the spot.. And ask for the spicy mayo! Don't let the looks fool you
This place really goes that extra mile to make sure you are getting what you want! I'm on a special diet, its hard for me to eat out anywhere without feeling like a burden to the restaurant. This gentleman asked what I liked and requested I try something new. So I said what I could eat and was eager to see what he was creating.... Low and behold... MY VERY OWN specially made dish.. for me!! (he said when its not lunch rush its easier to create orders) Delish! amazing fresh food made to order.. fast... and the conversation was nice too! THANK YOU!!

Amazing food, spicy mayo is great; hot, fresh food, great prices, quick delivery. We had a short stack club and parmesan crusted grilled ham and cheese, and both meals were wonderful!!! Thank you!!!
We enjoyed the Patty Melt & fries, Philly Style Chicken Wrap & onion rings, etc, and discussing European cuisine (including desserts!) with the owner.
