Comtemporary Japanese cuisine with great quality ingredients. They recently changed their name but are still under the same owners. The menu has slightly changed but for the better. The lunch specials are slightly larger now. Great value for money at this local spot, I’d highly recommend checking it out.

Been to a few places in the area, and this has by far been the most memorable! Amazing, fast, fresh, and fairly priced sushi are what you'll find at Sake House. Great location, super close for any FSU student. Thank you so much for the great food!
The sushi and presentation here is great. But unfortunately the speed of service can be on the slower end.
We once ordered a hibachi dinner, and the waitress kept telling us that it was coming, but it never came, even after finishing our sushi and waiting for a 5-8 minutes. We ended up waiting longer to get it in a to go box. It was very disappointing. Luckily, they have been decent since that trip, and their sushi is just way too good.
I’ve only been to sake house a handful of times. But I’ve never had a bad meal or bad service at this restaurant. The sushi is outstanding and is far better than Nagoya. Everything is fresh and hot when it comes out. Perfect place for date night.
Hands down the best sushi in Tallahassee. I ordered from here consistently while living in the area, and the quality was always top tier. Not to mention the exceptional pricing, and friendly employees who always treated me kindly. Definitely going to miss this place!

Perfect Date Night!!! The sushi was fresh, the seafood was cooked to perfection and the chicken tasted so flavorful!! I loved this dinner so much we plan to return soon. The serverd were nice and knew their menu (I like that). As always at the end of my meals I ask to meet the chef. As an Executive Chef myself it's important to tell the person who did an amazing job, thank you to their face. Come here for perfect service, great drinks and some of the best Japanese food in Tallahassee!
The vibe is cool and relaxed, making it a great spot to grab some amazing sushi and drinks in a laid-back setting.

Wow, this place was incredible! Friendly, quick service, and, most importantly, amazing food!! Don’t let its shopping plaza location keep you away: Inside, the atmosphere is pretty hip, perfect for casual date night or going out with friends. And the sushi is delicious. Highly recommend the Dynamite Roll, but even simple classics like the Philly are done really well here.
We love the spicy edamame appetizer. Maybe my favorite item, though, was the beef tataki. One of those things you order that everyone at the table will want to try.
My only regret is that I wish I’d taken photos of the space and of all of our dishes. I can’t recommend this place enough.
