Tried the Village Inn for breakfast and overall I would say the food was tasty and fresh but not prepared exactly as we ordered and not necessarily unique compared to other breakfast places we've tried. The pancakes were fluffy, hashbrowns and bacon crispy. The coffee was lighter than I prefer but served in carafes so we didn't have to wait to have more. I think the neighborhood feel and comfortable atmosphere are the bigger selling points here and many customers seemed to know each other. This is a solid choice for breakfast with an understanding the fare will be made with care following traditional recipes.
Village Inn has been our go-to breakfast spot as of late. The service is usually good and the food has yet to disappoint. We generally get the rueben sandwich combo and the VIB, which is a choose your breakfast combo! We have yet to be disappointed with the food that has been brought out to us. I'm happy to have a consistent breakfast option on this side of town!
Don't sleep on VI. I have a love for the International House of Pancakes. But this joint is the truth. Katie was awesome. Apple pie is amazing.
Classic American diner! I was here with some friends from Switzerland and they loved the classic American diner feel “just like in the movies.” The Belgium waffles with bacon came with basically one piece of bacon, but it’s a big breakfast so I wasn’t that upset.
Very clean. Happy server. Sunday breakfast at 10am and there was no wait for a table of 4. Food came out fast and was yummy. Better than waiting 60 minutes at more fancy breakfast spots.
Manager Kimberly, And Brian, Taylor and Suzie are 4 of the others employeesI enjoy knowing when they are working. We never go Wednesday and Thursday we like Thursday because Suzie is there..If they are not present then we don't stay..We are always at Park Ave location, If Taylor or Brian isn't there to cook then we aren't staying. Manager Kimberly is the best ever. She gives people chance after chance, she is a great Professional, Courteous manager..So nice to all the customers..There isn't any one person to run that location if they are gone..
We’ve been looking for a great little diner and I believe we found it today. I had Avocado Toast and my husband had the Strawberry Crepes. Both meals were excellent and well as the service. Bonus….they serve breakfast all day❤️
This was a great dining experience. We were sat by the lovely Kim, she was so nice. We were served by Samir, he was very quick to take our order and answered any questions we had about the menu. 10/10 would come back again.
Breakfast was perfectly cooked and hot. Little wait time. Our server, Beth was efficient and very personable. She had a great smile and positive attitude, which greatly enhanced our dining experience. She deserved ten stars on the five star rating system.
Breakfast was great! Crepes were awesome and hard to find so I throughly enjoyed them! Our server was also good. Only complaint was the Orange Juice which we had to send back, they recently got a new machine that was not working properly and tasted like water, otherwise a great experience for a low cost, decent meal!
