Rare 650

I attended a wedding recently. The cocktail hour was in one room and then the main course was in the glass Conservatory. This room was beautiful with tropical plants and in the evening you can see the stars above. The food was exceptional and the seafood was excellent. The service was very good and attentive. We were a venue of 70 people and fit comfortably in the room. We had a band and a small dance floor in the middle with 70 people. The drinks were good and a little strong if you prefer that. A beautiful venue location. Prices vary for venues but average 200 a person.

No wonder this restaurant is one of best on the north shore. First time visiting and the meal was one of the best I had in 2023. the Ribeye was perfectly cooked with great marbling. the Butter enhancement certainly enhanced already great flavor. Appetizers were delicious. We tried the grilled spanish octopus, mussels, and shrimp cocktail. All of which were perfect. Only reason i’m giving 4 stars was the service wasn’t excellent. we got there before a dinner rush and it took a while for a waiter to come over (had to ask for our server after about 10 minutes). Also, the parking situation is a S-show. it’s only valet and the line to get in was down the road of jericho turnpike

Where do I begin????? The drinks, the food, the atmosphere all amazing BUT the staff so professional, personable & super attentive. We had our office holiday party at rare650 tonight and it was seamless .. Cindy made the night completely perfect.. The attention to detail is BEYOND words. I highly recommmed Rare650 for a weeknight dinner out & def for any party big or small, Cindy will make certain it is beyond your expectation. Thank you Cindy & all the team members that help make our annual dinner AMAZING!!!

Went to this restaurant for a friend'a birthday. The fine dining experience was amazing. The food was delicious and the drinks were strong. The lighting is not the best for pictures but the decor is beautiful. I especially enjoyed the Wagyu steak special and the creamed spinach. The steak was prepared, perfect temperature and seasoned. The lamb chops has a lot of potential with some salt and pepper. The calamari was great. I would definitely go back.

This was an absolutely wonderful way to spend our 24th anniversary. Rare650 is a beautiful restaurant with delicious food. From the drinks, to the shrimp appetizer with olives and hummus, our entrees, my husband had salmon and I had the ribeye, and the banana bread and ice cream for dessert, we could not go wrong in this wonderful place. However, one of the most overlooked parts of a restaurant are the people who work there. How you’re treated can make or break an experience. For us, the service at this restaurant was better than most. Hannan at the valet was kind as he greeted us before we even got our cars. Our servers, Michele and Nor, took extra care of us throughout our dinner. But Cliff, the general manager, made our night complete. He went above and beyond to make us feel special as we celebrated our day. I’m so glad we chose to go to Rare650 and I’m excited for our next visit.

Had reservations for a special event. Attentive staff and great food. We had the special shrimp crusted red snapper and seared scallops with couscous and butternut squash. Absolutely delicious. Location is easy to get to and they have valet parking. I highly recommend it for special events for couples.

Rare650 Steakhouse is located in Jericho, NY. Welcoming staff, nice ambient, not as crispy attire as to Opus Steakhouse. There are multiple halls and setups, and a terrace, which offer the option of catering and hosting banquets and weddings. The scallops on a couscous bed were amazingly melting in the mouth. The proseco was decent. Guaranteed a pleasant and successful dinner. For this reason I would like to give credit where credit is due.

I came here to celebrate my fiance's birthday & we both had such a wonderful time. The food, drinks & service were beyond amazing. Nor & Michele were our servers & they were both great! They were so sweet, welcoming & very knowledgeable of the menu. They did such a wonderful job from beginning to end. Thank you for such a wonderful experience. It was the perfect gift for his birthday! We can't wait to come back!!
