Texas Roadhouse

Had the chance to get out this evening and enjoy a fantastic dinner at Texas Roadhouse in Sycamore IL. Wait for two was a little long, 20 minutes, but we didn't call ahead and it was prime time on Friday night at 6:30pm Started off our meal with their classic honey butter over hot buns......mmmmm good, but you have to watch out as they're so good you may over indulge before your main course. Ordered Margaritas because.....well why not! Bar was busy so they took a while to get to us but after the first sip the wait was well worth it. Then on to the main course .... we ordered 8 oz filets, cooked medium rare, with sides of loaded baked potatoes and applesauce......the steaks and baked potatoes were delivered piping hot to our table along with tasty applesauce. Medium rare requested and medium rare was what were delivered, always a plus. Our server was top notch, always checking in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. Bottom line.....head out to Texas Roadhouse in Sycamore IL for a great meal served in a terrific atmosphere by fantastic staff

We went here for my birthday dinner. Our service was excellent especially considering there was 6 of us, 2 of which were younger children. The drinks were amazing, I highly recommend the Mango margarita! Our only issue was that I'd asked for my steak to be cooked medium/well and it came back so well done and chewy that I couldn't eat it. Our waiter took care of it right away and came back with the most perfectly cooked steak I'd ever had. The appetizer we ordered was amazing as was all of our food. Great food, great service, a great place for a family dinner!

OMGOSH, this was our first time at Texas Roadhouse and our server Wyatt was beyond wonderful. I'm on a HIGH PROTEIN diet only, after looking at the menu I Chose the Herb Crusted Chicken breast which comes with two sides. (I can only have the chicken.) Wyatt asked what two sides would I like? I said none, he then asked tomato? Nope, Potatoe? Nope, Applesauce? Is it sugar free? He went and checked and it wasn't so Nope. I then told him, I can only have High Protein. My fiance ordered the half slab ribs and My mom ordered the Texas House Salad which has chopped boiled eggs in it, I asked if I could get two hard boiled eggs as my sides. Wyatt went way out of his way and exceeded his duties to serve me a meal, that he scrambled two eggs for me, not only did he go out of his way, he also brought it out to me when everyone else at our table was enjoying their Appetizers. We will DEFINITELY be back to Texas Roadhouse and thank you so much Wyatt for understanding my food choices and helping me have a meal.

Walked in and there were 2 staff standing there talking while I was standing there waiting to be greeted. One walked away and the other walked behind the hostess counter and then she noticed I was waiting to be seated. Bartender is awesome. Greeted me when I sat down at the bar, took my drink order, and asked if I wanted any of the yummy bread and honey butter. I ordered a cup of chili w/ onions & cheese. Very good although there was a lot of beans. The sirloin and baked potato came out looking delicious. And they were.

Highly disappointed. Came for my birthday and it was not a great experience. Place was packed which you can’t do much about but we were told we had to wait in our car for a table when there were dozens of people inside. We get to the car and we’re instantly called back in. It was also very noisy. Music was blasting. I felt like I had to yell to the people at my table. We were brought out food at a pretty decent speed but we were brought multiple things in doubles. Our server was great but our food was not a great temperature. Wasn’t exactly cold but wasn’t hot either. Our bill was over $100. Definitely not worth it.

The waitress dropped an entire tray of steaming hot food and glass on my 3 MONTH OLD nephew and we had to call 911 and not ONE SINGLE staff member came outside to see if the baby was okay. They had nothing to say and took our personal belongings off the table to clean it up for the next guest before we even had the chance to go back to collect them (they kept the winning lottery tickets on the table tho). I have never seen such poor customer service or lack of compassion, coming from someone who has worked in the restaurant industry and the medical field.
