This was delicious. Not sure about the reviews saying they treat you more rudely if you don't speak Mandarin. I was so scared about the reviews that I google translated how to say my dish in Mandarin when I went to pick up the food. I was better off speaking English. The lady was able to speak it and asked me to speak English. She wasn't particularly rude. Just neutral attitude.

I had a to-go order and ordered the Pork Fried Rice and Pan Fried Pork Bun. It was timely with a 15 to 20 minute wait. I highly reccommend the Pan Fried Pork Bun. It had a mixture of soft and crispiness with the surprise soup inside. It stayed warm for a long time. The fried rice was okay. I wouldn't reccommend eating it alone like in other chinese restaurants. Overall, it was fairly tasty at the right price. I would definitely come back.

Pan fried pork buns is one of my favorite dish from Shanghai. The crispness of the bottom to the softness of the top from the steam. The pork the perfectly cooked in the middle with the heat from the oil from the frying. The chili and vinegar adds so much flavor and it's bursting in your mouth. I love sucking out the soup. Still love going to this place in Sunnyvale, CA. Check them out, they have a full menu with other items too. 🐷🐖🐽

These are the best pan fried buns I've had around the area. They have a fairly small menu and ive only liked the pan fried buns. Must try!

Would not recommend if you do not speak mandarin! Other patrons and service was extremely rude. Came during busy lunch time, signed a sheet to 'line up'. Waited. Was next in line finally, and a patron just walked in and tried to take the table that was just freeing up. Quite rude, and waitresses were rude as well.
Food was decent, a bit above average!

The deep fried pork look so sad and small. Everything is underweight. There are lots of other shanghainese places that are better.

Shanghai pan fried pork dumplings are really tasty! Lots of juice inside. The top part wrapping is really thin. The bottom part of dumpling is thick with crunchy outside.

Have tried twice, the pan fried pork bun is far from average. The pork smells bad and the bottom bun is not crispy at all. Plus the buns are super expensive compared to others.
