Great lunch options and very affordable. The tea is amazing. Place is packed for lunch so come early!!
Update: still an awesome lunch spot. Katsu curry is amazing. Parking can be difficult.

Good food at a very decent price. Serving size is about just right, and serving speed was very fast. Even though Seto sushi is just across the street with slightly better food and decor (and slightly higher price), Gombei bento fares just as well for people who prefers lunch with more casual atmosphere.

Japanese-American bento combos and beer, what more could you ask for? How about 3 minute turnaround food service from time of ordering? I sh*t you not, I timed it!
I've been coming to this place for years and they have never disappointed.
Ready for why I never rated it previously? I've always thought their prices have been high until I realized what you're really paying for... The service!! They're simply amazing!

Fast and friendly service. Tasty steamed rice and veggies. Be sure to ask for sauces if you have none at home. Salad and dressing comes with lunch, their dressing is da bomb! Chicken teriyaki was good, but not the best. I like the teriyaki sauce to be thick, the chicken grilled more, and in smaller bite-sized slices.
