Golden Chick

We just went through the drive-through of the golden chick after seeing the sign advertising catfish nuggets specials and seeing catfish also on the drive-through menu. When we pulled up the lady at the drive thru said that they were out of catfish (which seems to happen too often). When I reminded her that they still had the advertisements up and there were no signs saying they were out of catfish today, she became very rude. I then asked if she knew when they would have catfish available again and she stated, “I don’t know” in a very nasty tone! We drove off without ordering. Too bad customer service isn’t a priority here. They really do have excellent tasting catfish.

Staff was fairly rude, kind of treated you with the same regard you would treat a random stray dog. The food is normally fantastic, however, this time the fries were cold couldnt eat them. The catfish and shrimp plate was $9.99 came with 2 burnt shrimp and 2 burnt pieces of fish. Going to be a while before we come back here.

I would give it a 0 if I could. I Called ahead to order. Order had to be picked up at the drive thru. It wasn't ready. Waited at pickup window for 10+ minutes then asked to pull to the front to get it brought out waited at least another 30 minutes before getting the food. Second time I've experienced this. Will never go back

Me and my wife went to get something to eat at the broad street restaurant. We spent 25.00 on a 4 and 6 piece tenders. We got home and the 4 piece was old and dry. This is to much money to get some dry old food. This is why we stopped going there because of the disappointment of the food. We won't be back anymore. And we tried to call the store and no one answered.

I will never spend my money here again. Had too wait around 7 mins just to get my order in (no cars at the window or In front of me, only for them too tell me there is no golden roast chicken. I ordered fries chicken so I proceed to the window and now they don’t have any fries either. What do you guys have ??? It’s only 7pm. I would understand if this was a one time thing, but I try and try this restaurant out hoping my visits would be better then my last but it never is.

Very kind and friendly staff. Super Fresh Chicken. Well maintained property. We love to get their 25 Golden tenders, and the 15 -piece half& half fried and roast chicken meals. It may seem a little pricey, but that's because it's a ton of food. We always have plenty of leftovers for the next day! Chicken and fries were so hot and fresh that the box containers were steamed to death by the time we made it home! Unfortunately, it seems they don't get as much love as the other fast-food-establishments just a few minutes West down the road. Definitely recommend dropping by this place! They deserve the business! I hope they prove that to you as they did us!
