Just out for a ride and ended up in Sumter and saw this place on the corner. I have NEVER been more pleased with my food, service and atmosphere. The onion rings were mouth watering. The Coach Moody was perfectly spicy, and the Bacon and Beer ice cream was absolutely heavenly. We now have a new favorite.

Fantastic Atmosphere. Great Food. The bartender definitely makes you feel like home. Great selection of Burgers to choose from. Location is beautiful and really shows what Sumter has to offer. Prices are reasonable, especially for the amount of food you receive. (note, there were more onion rings but I got hungry before the pic)

Absolutely the worst experience I can remember ever having... We were told we would have to wait an hour to be seated, even though the restaurant was half empty and they were seating other customers that came in after us. Then 10 minutes later, we were told we had to stand outside in the heat on the sidewalk with 2 kids under the age of 10. We literally waited almost 2 hours for nothing. Will NEVER go here again! I feel we were discriminated against and beyond disrespected.

The staff was cordial and polite. Our server was prompt and efficient. The blue cheese fries were excellent. My wife got a burger which was decent but on the dry side. I got a chicken sandwich which was incredibly dry to the point that I couldn't eat the chicken. Presentation was on point but quality of food was not the best. I'll likely give this place a try again at some point because Sumter is so limited.

We relocated from Florida recently and we were introduced to After Hours for the first time. What an amazing place! So thankful for this fun and welcoming night life spot right here in the downtown of Sumter! Scott is absolutely fantastic and made us feel welcome! I was impressed that he was the owner and still so chill and just a great guy! He talked to us about other places to try and other things to experience. Very grateful for his hospitality and this will be our regular hang out! Drinks were excellent and bartenders were rockstars!

I ordered the P15 with chicken, and it was good in spite of the meat being a little bit tough. Definitely recommend the fries with garlic sauce, they were very good. The toasted Pecan drink was also really good if you like creamy drinks. We did wait a little bit for our checks, but when I looked around, our waitress was the only one waiting tables, so I’m willing to forgive this minor detail. Overall a very good experience.

Love J.O.s. The staff is always so fun and the food is good. If you’re craving a burger this is your place. Pro-tip add chicken to the bacon blue fries. This is also great for a first date location. I trust the staff if my date ends up being sketchy and it’s easy enough to transition to dinner from drinks if things are going well.
