New Winner Chinese Restaurant

They denied me service bc I match the same attitude they provided! From one of the business that was neighbors to them I already know how unsanitary they and they food are! I only went there for white rice I had to repeate myself like they ain’t understood English or something. then because they claim they couldn’t take a card for anything under $5.00 which I find funny because I got the same thing from another Chinese place & paid with a card with no issue. I hardly ever go there because I taste something funny with their food years ago, now they denying service to certain people? I will never go back there EVER again! I got better service just down the street 🤷🏾‍♀️

The wonton soups' broth had a taste that I have never tasted before in soup. It was almost smokey. The pork in the wonton tasted leftover. The soup was really inedible. My beef with broccoli was delicious. However, the fried rice smelled and tasted old. This taste made part of my food inedible. I could not eat any of the rice, which the rice makes the meal complete. My wife's chicken and vegetables tasted very good but the rice had that old taste and smell which was very disappointing. The egg roll was good, but not filled very much. I am not sure if this was an off day or not. I will give this place one more try, ONLY because their brown sauce is the best I have had since moving here 10 years ago, from Queens, NY.

I had a menu for New Winner Chinese Restaurant tucked in my apartment door when I came home from work one day, so I thought I'd give them a shot not knowing any good Chinese take-out near my apartment complex. I've been there multiple times now, and it has been great every time. Their Moo Goo Gai Pan was delicious. The veggies were crisp and the sauce wasn't salty like at some places. I also really enjoyed their General Tso's Chicken and fried rice. Lunch take-out is $5.35 with a 12oz drink. It's a good deal, and you get generous portions (enough for leftovers later). The couple that runs the place is very friendly, and they have a little boy I find playing with Legos sometimes when I stop by to pick up my order. I highly recommend it for anyone in Summerville that gets the occasional craving for American Chinese cuisine. It's tucked away in the Piggly Wiggly shopping square by N. Cedar Street and W. 4th.

I posted a picture above. I got one bite of chicken with curry chicken. I called for money back on that combo and she tells me that curry chicken shouldn't come with more than one bite of chicken. It was literally one bite, no kidding!! She said I have to pay more for chicken!! They are a scam!! And egg rolls are empty!!
