The Icehouse Restaurant

Wow! This place was phenomenal. I don't try new places because I'm always let down. However this place is a MUST! The food was AMAZING! I was obsessed with how delicious the dessert and food was! Customer service was spectacular! My waiter gave the BEST Customer service I have received in a very long time. They have a play area by the outdoor sitting area for kids. Next time I will try that out with the kids. I am so very grateful for a wonderful night here. Thank you for the amazing service.

An excellent dinner and dining experience. The food is outstanding and cooked perfectly. Service is equally outstanding with impeccable timing (thank you Shane). Atmosphere is nice. A place to return and enjoy again. Highly recommended. The entrance is in the back of the building with parking on the left side and street.

Friendly staff and great atmosphere, the fish on the menu was fried flounder but was offered to me grilled which I had and it was delicious. Excellent value, easy to see how the icehouse has earned these "reader's choice" awards. The home made desserts all sound incredible too, I had the buttermilk & lemon zest creme brulee (sounds odd but a refreshing twist on the creme brulee, made it seem lighter for after lunch). Sweet potato fries were awesome, took me a while to find sweet potato fries in this part of the world, and I was impressed to finally get some broccoli that wasn't steamed until it was grey. It was a great pair of sides to a nicely cooked flounder.

Good atmosphere and friendly staff! The wait time was reasonable for a Saturday evening…. 15-20 minutes. With the ratings and awards...the expectations are is raised significantly...My meal ranked average to below average. My wife and I both ordered the fried shrimp with side’s. The shrimp did not appear to be hand breaded more like frozen and they were a bit rubbery. We also had fries, collards and squash. If you’re are charging top dollar it should be 100% fresh. I’m sorry to say but I’ve had the same quality at popular fast food restaurants. I definitely would give it a second chance though.

This was always a go-to dinner place for us. Between the start of the pandemic and now, they managed to add items to the menu that made it even better. Make sure to order the Grilled Pork Ribeye -- it is amazing! We also ordered an old favorite, Shrimp & Grits. They used to serve it with a grit cake, now they have regular cheese grits. I actually like it better; so tasty. Finally, for dessert, try the Beignets (which they must have added to the menu recently)...you will love it! Get a cup of coffee with it. Very good coffee with out-of-this-world delicious Beignets -- perfect sweet end to a great meal. Our server tonight was Rebecca, and she was incredibly attentive. Our glasses were always full, and we didn't feel rushed. Can't wait to go back.
