I love this place! I visited with a friend who highly recommended this place as being a fond memory of her childhood! I ordered cheese fries and a sandwich (I don’t recall the name) which were both fantastic. If you have the chance to visit, highly recommend!! The atmosphere is similar to a good home style dinner with notes of a bar! The waiters are always friendly! Parking is also available!!

Stopped by during my stay in Richmond and was super impressed with the food here. Great atmosphere and menu options, too. I got the Cajun Tuna Sandwich and it was the best sandwich I've had in a while. Great seasoning, blackened just right, and tasted fresh. My boyfriend got an oyster sandwich that tasted great too. Good onion rings and house chips as well (both warm and fresh). Would reccomend checking Baron's out.

I went here with my girlfriend last night for dinner. We were greeted and told to sit anywhere, got our drink order in (water and Coca Cola). We decided to get an appetiser, fried cheese. I thought by the wording that it was something more than frozen mozzarella sticks for $11. Nope, just a couple mozzarella sticks. We then put in our order for the avocado chicken pizza. We got the large for $21 because the waitress said the small would feed one, maybe two people at most. The pizza was huge and very greasy. The sun dried tomatoes were hard, there was a good amount of chicken so no qualms there. They only put about a third of an avocado on the pizza though, it was mainly cheese and sun dried tomato with some chicken. When they brought out the pizza they didn’t bring us plates and we had to remind them several minutes later that we hadn’t gotten any. To top it all off, we never once were asked if we needed a refill. I had heard good things about this place but obviously if you’re not drinking at the bar, you don’t get much preference.

I ordered the scallops and oyster dinner and I must say they were every bit as good as anything you could order from the Outer Banks. The seafood was fried to perfection and crisp to the very end of the meal. The service was great and everyone in my party had a great time. This is no easy accomplishment in these trying times of food and help disruptions. This is the kind of establishment that will assure America will will win in these trying times.
