My friends and I first visit today, food was great, large portions, freshly made, atmosphere was nice, waitress was very pleasant and knowledgeable of her job, we'll be back. Thanks, Joy in Va beach
The food is AMAZING!!! However, the service could be better. The hostess didn't even wait for me & my dinner guest to be seated before walking away & the waitress wasn't very attentive. Overall, I would recommend the restaurant for anyone who loves Italian food, and I do plan on returning! :)
Gianna's Pizzeria is a decent little Italian Eatery. I have been there several times on various occasions, for business lunches, and with friends. The food is pretty good. I especially enjoy their Pizzas for obvious reasons. They have a great crust recipe and makes the grade for Authentic hand tossed. The best thing I have had here is the Buffalo Chicken Pizza. Tender grilled chicken breast, and a delicious creamy sauce. A little heat, but nothing that will send you leaping for a glass of milk. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and the service is good. However, like any place they have a one or two young employees that can be annoying, but nothing to keep me from coming back. I recommend Gianna's for an easy and tasty place to grab a bite for lunch.
My boyfriend and I came here for dinner and were pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere! Lovely stone work all around made for a great casual dining experience. The bar also looked like a great spot to grab a bite. We shared the fried mozzarella, Caesar salad, chicken canneloni, and chicken parmesan. Everything we had was quite good, and I was surprised to see some more rare Italian wines on their list (Verona bianco). We will be back to try the pizza!
Perfect Example. My Fiancé and I have visited Gianna's on several occasions and have never been disappointed. We have tried the Zaa, Subs, Philly Cheese, and of course the Garlic Knots; all of which have been most excellent. We have had one experience where the service has been sub-par, but that does not dictate our opinion on the restaurant. The food has always been tasty, with large portions, generous desserts, and usually excellent service. Gianna's will remain on our list of places worth taking guests. Solid Food.
Perfecto. This is my number one go to for Italian. Tonight I tried the eggplant rollitini for the first time and I recommend it! My husband got the veal parm and he is already planning our next night out to Gianna's. The food is always great, and the service is excellent. We've had every sever and I have not one complaint!
Best of the best. Awesome experience tonight at Gianna's Pizzeria. Friday night is their busiest night of the week but we only had a 15 minute wait for a booth. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Ariel was our server and did a great job. We ordered linguine with clam sauce and fettuccine Alfredo. These were both the best we have had in a very long time. This is a great restaurant and very much worth repeated visits.
Our favorite Italian Place. Must get the garlic knots! I ALWAYS order chicken parm and have never been disappointed. There's a full bar and service is usually great! It's a fun and casual place with great prices.
Gianna's is amazing! Great food! Trust me, I have eaten everything on the menu and have NEVER been disappointed! The customer service is also impeccable! The restaurant is very clean and it is very family friendly. I would highly recommend Gianna's!
As a life long north-suffolkian, I was thrilled to hear all the chatter at the local salon about a new higher end place that wont break the bank. After the hundreth recommendation to try gianna's, my fiancé took me on a wednesday evening.Not only was the ttortellini our server Lindsay recommended to die for, our time spent was fun, romantic and overall excellent. The service staff was top notch from the hostess, to the waitstaff to the experts in the kitchen.
Even if the waitress hadnt been the best id ever had, Gianna's will now and forever be my #1 Italian food and cocktail go to restaurante.
Feb 2021:You get your money's worth at Gianna's! The staff is masked up and they have 50% capacity inside and they also have outside seating. We felt safe and had delicious food in generous portions. Definitely going back!
Feb 2022: Everything is still good! Some places reduced portion sizes during covid but here you still get a mountain of pasta
Gianna's is PORTIONS & CONSISTENCY in food offerings. You will not go hungry....I feel there is a beautiful Italian grandma in the kitchen saying, "EAT, EAT!!!" I have not had an unsatisfying meal...!!
Today at our table was the lunch special 1) Lasagna - Layers of Pasta w/ Ricotta, Ground Beef & a Blend of Italian Cheeses Topped w/ Tomato sauce & Baked Mozzarella Cheese! 2) Pepperoni & Cheese Stromboli and 3) Tuna Salad - Lettuce, Tomato, Onion, Tuna STEAK, Pepperoncini & Olives!!
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
Delicious food, great service, truly amazing. Our waitress name was Jessica and she was great. We ordered the lasagna and Gionna's Cheese Steak Sub.
I have been dinning here for more than 13 years and I have never had a bad experience. Last week visited again for my birthday dinner and man I am glad I did. I was having a hard time picking from all the delicious options on the menu and some would say that what I picked was not a great choice of such a special occasion but it was amazing. I chose to have the margarita pizza but added prosciutto. This my friends was one of the best pizzas I have ever had. If you are feeling like you would want to try something new give this a try. The saltiness of the prosciutto with the sweet of the Roma tomatoes was such a great combo that I think you would all enjoy. Thank you to the staff for another great dinner with my family. We will see you soon.
We use to frequent this restaurant when we lived in North suffolk. I'm glad we went back. Staff was very attentive
