What a find! I was born in NYC and moved out to Rockland years ago. My wife and I eat in the city, the lower Hudson Valley and here in Rockland and this place is on point. Healthy delicious food! So far I have had the chicken salad and the bad ass roasted eggplant sandwich. The sides are sick too! We drive up from Nyack for lunch on the regular now. And Mike the owner is the real deal. Great decor on the wall and music playing. Our new spot for sure!
Visited for breakfast. This is a small storefront restaurant. A few tables, very simple but the food is home style, fresh and taste great. I had an egg, mushroom and spinach soufflé. It was excellent. Remember this is not a restaurant style place, truly a storefront kitchen so don't expect anything fancy at all. You may get some mixed matched coffee mugs but that is part of the charm. Not a burger/fries place thank goodness.
During the pandemic I need a Birthday cake and this business came though for us. This cake was made from squash with berry jelly it was pretty amazing! I had a vegan cupcake from here and once I find that photo I will add it here. It was really good too.
Mia’s is amazing what a breath of fresh air to walk into a place filled with so many tasty and healthy foods and hear the customers talking about how they locally and organically grow the peppers for the hot sauce. It’s not your typical “super liberal” vegan restaurant, more like a mostly plant based restaurant that still puts customer service first. I’m stopping here every time I can. I would recommend it to anyone looking for good healthy food in a casual & friendly environment.
Came in about 35 mins before closing and had the best experience. The vibe of this little place is perfect. Its totally casual, low key and really honest. We had take out but it would be great to est in as well. I’ll be back to work there and eat some of the yummy #vegan options. We basically got a little of every vegan option and everything was great. Huge love for the kale salad with orange, very yummy!

Mia's staff were friendly and accommodating, the coffee and iced tea were delicious, and I was pleasantly surprised that they had paper straws for the iced tea. It was hard to choose, there were so many delicious looking options on the lunch menu. We opted to split a custom omelette, which was perfect; and then for dessert we had an incredible zucchini muffin with jam and almond butter. Street parking was available nearby and it was such a positive and tasty experience that I will definitely be back. I wish I lived closer!
Stopped on my way back to the city from Hunter and had mushroom bisque and vegan grilled cheese and a great espresso. Really satisfying and flavorful, friendly and attentive service. Went back in for lentil loafs to go so I wouldn’t have to cook dinner. Great vibes and food, would definitely go back. 👍🏼🌱❤️
This place has such delicious food and a charming warm vibe. It actually feels like home and it certainly is home cooking. Excellent vegan options!! We are new to the area and we will certainly become regulars.
Great food. Lots of vegan options. They know exactly what goes into their products so if you have allergies they were extremely helpful.
