The food and the service is five star. Our favorite start is the PomeRoy House salad and warm Italian bread. We both love sea food so he had the halibut and I had the salmon. Very generous portion sizes, we walked away very full.

Never a bad meal at Don’s, whether you choose the patio, the pub or in the main dining areas. The service is stellar. Our latest dinner on the patio was great, and the Chilean sea bass outstanding as well as the filets and scallops. An all-time favorite.
This is one of the best restaurants in Strongsville. I love their grilled romaine. I'll order it every time I go there. Highly recommend this place for a date night or a great lunch! I love that they've stepped up their bread game. Bread says a lot about a restaurant.
Wonderful experience! Even though it was packed, they were able to seat us in the unique speak easy like atmosphere downstairs where our bartender and waitress Gayle was on point. I couldn't have asked for a better evening! Thank you for always being consistently excellent in making the entrees delectable...
Great dinner tonight. The grilled romaine salad was fantastic. Braised short rib and the scallops dinners were delicious. A Strongsville icon!

My first time at pomeroy House. Was very pleased with the experience. Excellent service and I was especially pleased with the quality and price of both food and drink. I've been other restaurants where they are charging over $90 for surf and turf and here it was $59. The lobster and the steak were done to perfection served with the side of fingerling potatoes and tender fresh asparagus. They were also nice enough to give us a complimentary chocolate eclair as we were celebrating our anniversary. We had no problems getting reservations for the time we wanted the place was full. They also offer dining in the pub in the lower level and the full menu is available down there. I especially appreciate the very comfortable and well padded upholstered chairs that were at the table that we were sitting at. Very comfortable. Also very much enjoyed the calamari and artichoke heart appetizer that was topped with a sweet chili sauce. Will definitely get this again but I would ask for more sweet chili sauce on the side. The portion here was quite a bit so plan on sharing it.
We love to eat indoors at Don Pomeroy's House for special occasions because their menu is superb and the ambiance is very tasteful but not over the top. During our last visit, my wife and I had the scallops, I had mine with the risotto but she asked for the bacon, squash and feta hash. Both meals were amazing, but the hash was one of the best things I've tried in a long time. They also always have a very good wine selection and their staff is first class. If you are looking for something a bit more casual, their downstairs or patio both have a great menu but with different vibe to them. The outdoor area is great I love each of them for what they are.
Don's Pomercy House provides fine dining in Strongsville. The setting is luxurious. The meals are sumptuous. The staff treats diners as royalty. People with epicurean tastes will be pleased. My party enjoyed the steak, salmon, and sword fish. The meal was capped off by the eclairs. The basement pub offers more casual dining.
The Chilean Sea Bass was one of the Best meals I've ever eaten. My husband's NY Strip was perfectly cooked. We had Voodoo Shrimp for an appetizer.. Soon Good! It was my birthday so I got a giant Eclair from the to celebrate. I asked if it was haunted because we saw the chandelier moving. I loved hearing the haunted stories from the waitress.
