Checkers

This was one of the most run down, unfriendly, bad service Checkers restaurants that I've ever been to. When I arrived I actually thought the place was shut down. There was trash all around, the dumpster overflowing, weeds and grass growing wild and the actual structure looking as if it needed some serious TLC. I waited at the drive through so long that I was about to pull off because no one acknowledged I was there. As I started to pull off the female taking the order said "Can I take your order?" Not, sorry for the wait or Welcome to Checkers, how may I help you? But instead an very unfriendly "Can I take your order?" After placing my order I thought they had to butcher the chicken fresh because of how long my wait was. The staff was very unfriendly and can take a few of the Chic-fil-A customer service classes. No business will survive if this is the best service they have to offer their consumers. Lastly is the fact that my sandwich was made wrong and nothing fuels my flame more than getting home and having my food made the wrong way! And needless to say, I will never ever be back to purchase anything from this Checkers again in life!!

I received the worst service tonight. Sat in the Drive-Thru for about 5 minutes and the cars were not moving they finally moved so I went to the left side drive thru no one responded after a few minutes so I pulled up to the window. The guy came over and said to go around the building and go to the other side. At this point and just decided to just go inside maybe that would be quicker but no. What I saw was three people working inside and none of them working efficiently and they were only taking drive-thru orders we sit inside for a while still not being taken care of. This is the worst ran Checkers I've ever seen. It seems they are not taking any orders inside and just keep apologizing about sorry for the wait. I'm still stuck in the Drive-Thru line is there's no way for me to get out this is crazy. Been here almost 20 minutes now.

My burger was still RAW meat. When brought to their attention not a single word was said. No apology at all. People are bound to get food poisoning from this location. They up charged me on all my combos for fries even though I never asked for it. I ordered extra fries so there was definitely no reason for. If anything I would of asked for large drinks. Everything was ridiculously greasy. This is truly the last straw. I will never get food from this location again. If prepared by competent employees I believe checkers has some of the better fast food out there but I could write a book about how many times and ways this location has butchered my orders. Dont take the risk...just go to BK across the street.

I pulled up to the drive-thru and just ordered just a soda. To my surprise the employee told me to drive around to the other window they usually don't use because there were quite a few people ahead of me in line and he didn't want me waiting in line forever for just a soda. Was very happy and out of there fast!

Checkers has a hole-in-the-wall type of feel. It's not the warmest, most comfortable place, but to me that's not what this place is about. It's quick, greasy, heart slowing goodness. The food is unique compared to other fast food chains because of its seasonings and items (IE chicken bites boxes). Can't go wrong here

Drove up to the drive thru, took about 3-5 minutes to decide what we wanted but still had yet to be greeted by anyone to take our order so I said hello? Someone had answered and said they'd be right with me. I sat there for another 5 to 10 minutes until I asked if they were open and got no response so I reversed and drove off. The parking lot only had 1 car parked so I don't know if the issue was that they are under staffed or what but this wasn't there 1st time this happened at this specific checkers.

Tried to go get my daughter a snack and I pull to the speaker and the man who was taking orders could barely be understood.. he did not speak clearly and then when I figured out what he was saying it was that they have no change and if I'm paying cash I need exact change. How can you operate a restaurant without change? I will never go there again. Last time half my order was missing as well. Stay far away from this place!!

This placed is closed down permanently apparently. Google said it was still open, so we went through the drive thru, and was greeted by the automated message. Waited for about five minutes with no response, but that’s happen before even when they were open. Finally a guy loading stuff into their car said they’re closed for good. No signs on anything, drive thru still playing greeting, but whatever. Just go to Burger King right up the street. Also, this location really was shady. Last time I came they said I had to sign the receipt because I used my Amex, but it wasn’t a merchant copy, it was just my copy they wanted me to sign and hand back I told them I never have done that before and they said yeah that’s how it is and I told them I was not going to sign anything that wasn’t a merchant copy and they said alright??
