Vazzy's

I am a person who understands the weight of a review, so I don’t write this review carelessly. When you have hundreds of restaurants to choose from, when you decide to spend your money with a business the expectation is that your receive quality service and food. Con: The service was mediocre at best. Our waitress didn’t introduce herself, she didn’t say hello or greet us properly. She placed the menus on the table and asked if we wanted drinks. Strike 1 for me, you always greet your customers and smile because again, they could be spending their money somewhere else. The glass I received my drink in was dishwasher worn and crusty. The calamari was dry and tired looking. Pro: The chicken parm was well prepared and tasty. My sons pizza was good and the dish my wife ordered was good. Good food and bad service don’t go together. This place needs a new crew ASAP. But I’ll never spend my money here again.

I order a small pizza half pepperoni and sausage didn’t get that the food was cold and he went to the wrong address at first The driver brung me my food I don’t know if it was the color of my skin or that I live in the projects but never judge a book by it’s color he lied about the price then when I said he was wrong he took my money and didn’t give me change I ask who was the owner and he said me I said wow customer you should have being the owner and me being in the culinary world as an chef 👩🏽‍🍳 I didn’t get it him a a business owner he needs to go back and take a few courses in customer service and people skills so I asked for him to bring my money back and get his food he said he would mail me a check but when I said I would call the police ,news and The N. A. A. C. P. He changed his tune saying he bring me my money back and to keep the food so I think something should be done cause I’m tired of people thinking cause color of there skin that there better then others or are in title to better treatment or can speak to you any kind of way Also the chicken carbonara is dry looking and no seasoning at my son said he like the pizza 🍕

I wish i can give ZERO! Please check out other restaurants before you Decide to spend money over here. Especially if you're a person of color! As someone wrote in these reviews, you have your own money and you have a choice where to spend it at... and deserve a good service aswell... My daughter graduated from middle school today, and decided to take her out for dinner .... Service was very very very poor, the older lady taking our orders was behaving like our food was for free, we didn't feel welcomed there, The food came very fast and Tasted very old, my daughters food was cold, i brought a sample home to show my husband... and at the end we felt rushed out of there, we've been in lots of restaurants , waiters and waitresses have never made us feel this way.... very sad that a restaurant in my neighborhood where i will always order for delivery will receive us this way. This place needs a better management team. I am not spending my money here ever again... Why should I go and spend my money to have someone treat me like that? I don't deserve this and I have other choices.

I wish I could give 10 stars. This place gives you that family feel. We have been here several times and wanted to stop in on our way from NJ to Mass. We got delayed and were not going to make it until 9:45pm and they close at 10pm. So we ordered take out. When we got there and told them this they told us to sit and they would serve us. They played our meal and brought over silverware. Also we ordered dessert which they still took the time to decorate and make look pretty. I could not believe the hospitality!!! We so appreciated being able to have a sit down meal on our road trip

This was my first time visiting Vazzy's. I had a slice of cheese pizza. The slice was hot and not dried out. I was surprised how stable the dough was and I even ate the crust. I'm actually heading back today and bringing a date with along with me. I am so happy I found a great pizza place not far from home!
