Feller

Unbelievable food! During mid day, their menu was quite simple, but don't be fooled by that. The food is BURSTING with flavor! We had the crostini as well as the pastrami and both courses were simply delicious. The crostini had super juicy mushrooms, great greens and creamy sauce, and portion was generous. Wasn't hard as rock as sometimes crostinis can be. The pastrami had super smoky flavour as well as tasty fries with house made ketchup! Great value for money and would totally come back. In fact, we plan on it!

What a find in wonderful historic downtown Stillwater. The cocktails include classics with a twist to enhance with many whiskey based choices along with others. The menu is heavy on unusual cuts and varieties of red meat such as buffalo, while at the same time balances with pasta and a daily seafood special. We enjoyed a rabbit filled pasta and and the duck with a colorful variety of purées, sauce with local berries and vegetables which is pictured. The seared tuna appetizer was delicious and is pictured.

Feller on Main St. In downtown Stillwater has an extraordinary atmosphere with a lot of character and originality. As a modern farm to table restaurant, the interior is dark but has a neutral elements. A very much "Northern Minnesotan" vibe. The tall windows opens up the space and natural light. The architecture was built around the old structure so you can see going to the restroom where there used to be a cave. Apparently they have a party room that I didnt see as there was an event going on. Reservations a must as it gets busy. Parking anywhere in downtown stillwater is a challenge but there are plenty of public parking lots and ramps. We had an amazing waitress. She was friendly and bubbly and gave recommendations for our non-alcoholic cocktail drinks that we requested. I enjoyed my Alaskan Halibut ($40) which comes with a sweet and spicy sauce and a glass potato. Very innovative. It was a perfect light dinner. My husband ordered dry rubbed wings, brussle sprouts and cheesy scalloped potatos (no pictures). He thought the wings had too much of the dry rub otherwise, the wings were flavorful and crispy. The strawberry shortcake ($8 or $10) was a great way to end dinner. Our dinner bill totaled to $112 +$20 tip. Great place for date nights, girls dinner date, or for any occasion.

We went yesterday looking for breakfast to our regular spot but they were closed and we began to drive randomly and finally be got this awesome place Feller, thet does not have any name outside but we got is part of Lora Hotel. Well the place is beautifully decorated with a fancy atmosphere, no crowded but busy, breakfast was excellent, enough coffee( one important point for my husband and I) amazing, active and accurate server . Very particular menu only 6 options for breakfast and no non dairy options I got the omelette and my husband the seafood benefits simply delicious!! Happy to have decided to went to Feller a necessary stop in Stillwater.

We recently had our wedding reception at Feller and everything was absolutely PERFECT! The staff were all so friendly and helpful and we received so many compliments on how good the food was. We specifically worked with Alexis throughout the entire planning process and we cannot say enough good things about her. Her communication skills are amazing and she is so quick to work around and adjust to your needs. We went back and forth with picking a wedding venue or renting out a restaurant and I will from now on tell everyone to go the restaurant route. It was so nice to have everything you need all in one spot!

Come prepared with your appetite and wallet. Enjoyed eating outside at front of main street restaurant. Shared meal. Started with korean BBQ ribs with fried leeks. Never had before but started the meal out perfectly. Ordered 20 oz bison steak. Cooked to order. Brussel sprouts on side. I could have just eaten that for my meal it was so delicious. It was worth going. We did have an inexperienced server and at end of meal a family with a child who was loud and parents didn't seem to mind letting him be that way.
