The concept is great... Very creative. And they have great icecream flavors. But my "happy bun" was not like other pictures I have seen. Greasey donut, hardly any ice cream, for 6$?

This place blew my socks off. Happy Buns exceeded my expectations of how great an ice cream/donut combo could taste. It was a truly delightful experience with friendly customer service and lots of flavor options; every customer should go home happy. I will be sure to share this suprise with all of my family members when they come to visit. There's no indoor seating, so bring your jacket during the colder days.

Definitely delicious, but not my cup of tea. $6 for a donut filed with ice cream and 1 topping. The toppings seem unnecessary. I'd already a donut and I've cream. How much more sugar do you need? But the donut tasted like funnel cake almost, which was yummy.

The service was outstanding, and the ice cream was great. I felt welcomed and the place seemed quite pleasant. Overall the employee was good looking, he seemed a little overwhelmed by a big group of people but he was able to process what was happening. He was also extremely nice, he explained how it worked and gave samples. Next time I’m here I’m asking for his snap.

It was really good. They have awesome music playing. The staff was friendly. The only thing holding it back from getting 5 stars in the menu size, not a lot of options for things to order. Still, it's worth a visit.

By far my favorite ice cream stop, can’t beat the glazed doughnut that comes out warm with the ice cream still solid plus the variety of flavors and toppings! It’s simply amazing and perfect for a cheat day from the gym!

This was terrific! Cannot beat the fresh warm glazed doughnut with ice cream stuffed in between. Delicious. The staff very friendly and patient with all the kids. Only semi-complaint I could think of is the prices seem a litte high.

A little difficult to find (being in the underground area next to Big Bowl), but the combination of doughnuts and ice cream is a great concept and amazingly delicious as I had from here. A very unique place to have in State College, and definitely will stop by again!
