Always a great place to eat. Today it was a very busy day due to a Penn State football home game. The place was hopping but they were able to handle the added people. Our server Michael was outstanding and a really nice person. Food and beverages were amazing as always. The Deli is an icon of downtown State College and well worth checking out if you're visiting.

I always make a point to stop here when travelling through! Always friendly and comfortable. So many great selections for food and drink, especially appreciate the best homemade gluten free bread! I feel.safe and happy eating here with all of my allergies. Thanks and keep up the good work. But please be sensitive on pricing for gluten free, etc. I thought it was a little too much, last visit. As much as I enjoy, I might think twice before deciding on another place for a change because of a 14 dollar sandwich with a pickle.
Food here is little salty with me but they have various menus from soup to dessert. I like killer cookie for two. It is so good!!!!! Chocolate cake here is also good. I had also shrimp Gumbo and salad, and it was pretty decent.
Really enjoyed my sandwich, and was extremely impressed with the beer menu. I got a flight of 4 beers and loved each one. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who likes beer.
Really good beer selection and nice food. The menu is fairly extensive and they regularly have specials so there is lots to choose from. Everything I've had has been good. Nothing amazed me, but I haven't had anything I did not enjoy. They also have lots of space. Initially it looks small to medium in size, but there is a backroom with tons of space and some outdoor tables when the weather is nice.
Good service and quality American pub food. Nice atmosphere and fair prices. Definitely a staple of downtown State College
Great beer selection, over 30 on draft. Food quality has dropped a little the past couple years. Used to be one of the best in state college, no longer that but still very good. Menu has a little bit of everything. Lots of great salad options
I loved this place. The manager was a very nice young man who tried very hard to introduce me to the many hop beers they had on tap. While I am not a fan, it was very impressive the efforts put forth to try to impress. The food was awesome and the service was amazing. This place is a must for those dropping the kids off to school.
