I had a really good experience at HVBC. The service is really good and the bartenders were willing to allow us to try a variety of different beer before deciding on one, which is brewed in house. They also have a really good cocktail selection as well if you’re not into beer. The food was also outstanding. I got a salad and it was absolutely massive. From most people would be good for multiple meals and the salmon was cooked perfectly. Also I think it’s a must to get the fish and chips. Everyone knows the standard fish and chips is cod, but Happy Valley makes it with Barramundi and it’s absolutely incredible. Each piece is well worth the price and it’s fried to perfection.
Happy Valley Brewing Company is a strong vibe! They live up who they are and embrace the country/music culture they’ve created! Sizeable portions🍔, great live music🎶, and fresh home-brewed beer🍻. What else do you want?
BEST NACHOS EVER! The food is always great and beer is absolutely delicious. This is one of our favorite spots. Our server tonight was amazing and he's only been working there for 7 days lol we had a great date night.❤️
What I really enjoy from this restaurant is their decorations. If you look up at the ceiling, there are lots of pictures and art works which are really special to me, leaving a very good impression. Besides, the service is very good as well. The only thing that I feel inadequate is that the light is a little bit bleak. The food there is good and the non alcohol drink only have Pepsi.
Great food, great beer, and live entertainment was awesome. We eat here every time we make it to Penn State. May be coming more often if my kid wants to go here. Great way to end a successful college visit.
Been to Happy Valley a few times over the years during visits to Penn State. They always have awesome beer and food. On our most recent visit, our waiter, Bill, was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. Looking forward to going back!
We had the short rib nachos as an appetizers and they were very yummy!! I feel like it could’ve had more cheese on them, as the bottom nachos were dry. I had the short rib grilled cheese sandwich and that was The. Best. grilled cheese sandwich. The tomato jam was such a great compliment to the Gruyère cheese. I was very happy with my meal and our experience here.
