We came to Luray on our honeymoon and were given Hawksbill Diner as a recommendation from the concierge at the hotel we stayed at. GOSH was this place perfect. Debbie was such a delight and the entire staff was overwhelmingly polite. The food was everything you could ask for and more in a "mom 'n pop" style diner. You can tell their main ingredient in ALL their food is love. If you're in the area do yourself a favor and stop by Hawksbill and ask for Debbie. You can literally close your eyes and point at ANY item on the menu and you are going to love it.

We went too early for lunch so we ordered a standard breakfast. It was good. Nothing extraordinary but it was breakfast...most places are good with breakfast. The lunch looked more interesting. They don't serve butter. Not sure why. Looks like the locals like it. Very cute on the inside.

Cheerful, friendly staff, great food at a really reasonable price. It's not on the menu, but they will make a chilly and cheese omlette that is fantastic. Asked for crispy bacon and it was Perfect! Will definitely go again the next time we're in the area.

Busy as can be the meal we ordered was the pork bbq's and fries my husband got the potato wedges and I got the home fries and they were very good it took a little bit to get to us but it's not a big deal the server that we had was nice and attentive thanks so much
