Here is the key to eating at Ike's Place:
1) Walk up to the counter.
2) Ask the person standing at the register for a full sandwich.
3) Do not specify which sandwich you want. They will pick a great one for you.
4) Rinse and repeat.
The above method is guaranteed to net you an absurdly delicious and varied array of sandwiches. All of Ike's offerings have an almost-too-much-but-actually-just-right amount of mouth-watering sauce on them, a solid combination of meats and accouterments, and a bonus caramel apple candy thrown in for good measure.
Ike's gets it. They make great sandwiches, their employees are jovial, helpful and generally awesome, and they have one of the more impressive arrays of gourmet beverages I've seen. I'm unreasonably glad to have a place like this available so close to the center of campus.
I had "The 49er" sandwich which comes with Halal Chicken, Buffalo Sauce and tastes great! I also tried an Ike's soda (Chocolate Soda) and it was just ok. Come here for the sandwiches and the lollipop which comes with your meal:)! Partial Halal Menu (The Halal Chicken is clearly labelled on select sandwiches). The Vegetarian and Vegan sandwiches are good as well.
Ike's Place has great sandwiches. Lines can be a little long but its worth it once you get the sandwich. The people there are great and have no problem adjusting orders.
the sandwich plce is ok. Nothing spectascular but solid and hefty. I would say its as little pricey but having a name to your establishment allows you to add a couple bucks to your merchandice I like the halasl chicken sandwich. I forgot the clever name that goes with it but nonetheless still good. I recommend you order ahead of time because they take at least ten minutes to prepare youe food.
