We’ve been going here sporadically for years, it’s a great place as a bakery or as a restaurant/breakfast always friendly & bake good second to none & we live in eating capital of the South. South Carolina but when visiting family we always try to get to Spouses. Do yourself a favors & try the famous bread pudding & that’s right pour on the bourbon topping.

We stopped here while we were in St. Mary’s and it was such a cute local spot. The atmosphere was great and most importantly the food was so delicious, it was definitely cooked with love!! We each had an omelet with a side of bacon and their homemade bread, so yummy!! We will be back the next time we’re in the area. Thank you for the wonderful food!

I only know them through their attending the Tybee Island Farmers Market every Monday. All I have purchased are exceptional and I usually buy chicken pot pies. However 2 Mondays ago the 4 that I bought were very dry. The ingredients were fine, just needed more sauce (chicken broth?)....months later I have edited this review because I no longer purchase the chicken pot pies because they continue to be too dry.

Fantastic food!!! Some of the best red beans and rice I’ve had in forever, and the St. Mary’s grilled cheese was awesome. Great customer service as well!!! I’m jealous this place wasn’t open when I lived in St Mary’s years ago!

I'm not sure what the best thing is about this quaint little home town bakery. The cheese danishes are OUT OF THIS WORLD❣️, the best I have ever had hands down and trust me I've probably had more than my fair share😁. The blueberry muffins are absolutely perfect and full of fresh blueberries 🫐. I also had the sausage, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich on the fresh made sourdough bread. Everything was cooked to perfection and scrumptious. The icing on the cake so to speak was that it is a Veteran owned business. If you are anywhere close to St. Mary's this is a must try Bakery and Restaurant 🤤😋😍

Had breakfast and took sandwiches for the beach later. Everything was wonderful. And Donna Prater, no one there put rotten lettuce on your sandwich. I think you need to take your medication. This place is owned and operated by lovely people who care about their community and what they serve to the community.
