Went to Captain D's in Springfield, TN, Order a 2pc fish. Paid $10.00. Window pick-up... When I got home it was the worse two piece I ever seen in my life... It was dry as.." "... Look like it was set under the lights for way too long. Had to throw it out in the trash... Not even the dogs wanted to touch it.... The first time I had such a bad experience with Captain D's...

Ordered a seafood feast all fish hush puppies and fries as the sides all the food looked dark except the frie that were the only pleasant part of the whole order and they were cold but the fish has a hint of pink and I call to ask to just have the food replaced and told that all the battered fish they been serving has a hint of pink it’s a new fish or something after I was transferred from the manager to the cook then was I told I could have a refund but seeing as it’s dinner and I have 4 kids I legit didn’t have time to change dinner plans

Food was OK but the portly lady with the multi colored finger nails seemed a little rude to me. She never smiled and acted liked she was bothered when she took my order.cooks in the back looked sweaty. Wonder how many sweat drops fell in the food?. Needs to be removed and have a staff that likes their job, or at least act like it.

Both seafood platters were overcooked. The shrimp were hard, the crab cakes were half filled, the fish was thin and dry, even the hush puppies tasted burnt. I love Captain D's but I was disappointed. Maybe the is a new cook, I don't know but it was definitely not the way the food usually is. I was disappointed that they didn't have the clam strips but considering how the dinners were it was just as well.
