I have been eating here since they opened and they never disappoint. The sushi is great and the hibachi is too! The staff is friendly. The owner, Calvin, is a super nice guy. He always remembers me, seems very glad to see me again, and never fails to ask about my daughter. I wouldn't expect a small town like Springfield to have sushi this good, but yet they do! Great sushi, friendly staff and a hometown feel. If you like sushi, you'll love Ichiban!
What a hidden gem! Sushi was fresh and very creative rolls. We consider ourselves very experienced with sushi and this place was one of our top experiences. And the value is amazing. So affordable for what you get. Service was great! We will be back when in town.
Our food was delicious! We both had the lunch special filet mignon and shrimp for $12.99. the steak tidbits were very tender and flavorful and the shrimp was cooked perfectly had a light brown sauce on it and served with lightly sauteed vegetables came with delicious fried rice . The service was speedy but not necessarily that friendly. Clean bathrooms. I would definitely go back!
The food is always consistently great. Never have anything but a fantastic experience. Love, love, love their sushi and hibachi combos! Oh, and the fries rice is addictive.

Fantastic, I was here on a date. They were amazing. Left us alone to talk but came by checking on drinks and the like at perfect timing. The sushi was massive and wonderful quality sashimi was even better. My order was quite good. The scallops were slightly over done with just a bit of a rubbery skin. The steak was not quite median rare and not nearly as good quality beef at I expected for the price of the plate. That said. I recommend Ichiban, good atmosphere and excellent staff.
Nice strip mall find tucked away in Springfield. Food was fresh, well constructed, and reasonably priced. Service was efficient and friendly. Many staff were wearing masks which added an extra layer of safe service.
Some of the best rolls I've ever had, and the fried rice is awesome, me and my wife eat here when ever we can
