I eat Ethiopian food everywhere I travel. Addis doesn’t disappoint. The meat and vegetarian dishes were both wonderful. The spiciness was perfect and the ingredients were bright and fresh. The injera has the right amount of tang and was plentiful. The staff were welcoming and attentive. I am very happy to have them in my home town.
I worked with Addis to cater my event and I was so happy with the job they did. I picked up the food and it was all so fragrant and delicious smelling. Meklit did an amazing job. There was plenty of food for 30 people and the quality was outstanding. Many of my guests hadn't had Ethiopian food before and they really enjoyed it. I would use her for catering again. Amazing food, amazing service and excellent prices! You can eat the food traditional style (with very thin bread, think a cross between a pancake and a tortilla) or with requested silverware. The food tastes amazing and they have several vegetarian/vegan options. Prices are cheap and you get a great value. Bonus: free parking out front on the street, thanks downtown Springfield! Highly, highly recommend!

Definitely check their hours as they are currently only open Thursday through Sunday, and not in the afternoon. Small dining room, so be prepared to wait...and yes, it's worth it. 👍👍

What a wonderful meal. We haven't had Ethiopean food in a while. We were dropping off our daughter at UO and found Addis'. So yummy! We definitely enjoyed our meal. This place is a real treat!
This place is now placed high on my places for Ethiopian food. I'm from Chicago so we quite a few and this place was good.and very authentic and welcoming.atmosphere. Menu is small which is nice for people who don't know the cuisine. But it also shows there focus on the dishes they do have which where fantastic. Not to mention there coffee best in Eugene that I've had and love the cup it came in.
I cannot overstate how much I love this place! Delicious food, vegetarian options, great tea and friendly service.
